    Was somewhat hard to set up. It works fine, but I'd get a modem/router combo instead.

    I purchased this modem and never worked right - internet kept going on and off for a week - after days of plugging and unplugging and calling service provider - returned it and bought Arris SurfBoard SB8200 - have had it now for 1 month - Not one problem!

    Came out the box broken. Usually big fan of netgear. Doubtful that I’ll buy another in the future, or not from Best Buy. Return process was a pain.

    Not sure if it’s the modem or the Comcast upgrade, but the service is a lot worse than before. Internet is poor. WiFi is dropping off. Pretty poor.

    Randomly disconnects from my router

    About once a month it will disconnect from my router and reconnect ten minutes later

    Does not work as advertised for Xfinity

    This product has consistently worked, but when paired with my nighthawk router on xfinity internet has only given me 300 mbps internet speed, when I pay for 600 mbps. Netgear seems to have firmware issues that prevent their equipment from working at full capacity, despite being advertised to work at 1 gbps. I could have kept my old modem and had the same speeds, plus setup took over an hour because I had to call xfinity to install it, rather than just plug and play.

    Decent cable modem. It tips over easily because of the poor design, but does work with no issues

    I give this 3 stars because The box did say this will not work with spectrum internet gig service. But I had to try it anyway.

    Had this modem for 3 weeks and it just stopped working today. Of course, 1 week outside of Best Buy’s horrible 15 day return/exchange policy. This modem was not cheap and now I have to buy another one.
