This modem is amazing! I didn't expect any difference from my netgear cm600 which gave out after 3 yrs. Youtube videos instantly play without waiting and with a cheap router which needs to upgrade this week. Webpages load faster than docsis 3.0. This modem is the best modem i have ever owned. Gaming on this modem is great bullets and hit register quick. I would recommend this modem to any house. It is pricey but it is worth the price for me.

This was a replacement for the COX provided modem. All in all it appears to be a good choice. Its faster than the cox modem, I pay for 150meg, and previously was getting 150-155 this one clocks at 175 or so. I was kinda concerned about the number of reviews that noted high heat, but since it sits out in the open,figured i was ok. Its warm, but not any more than the cox modem. As long as there is a bit of circulation I dont think there would be a probem.

If your looking for a fast and stable modem for your setup. This is the one to purchase. Another Arris failed on me , the SB6190, has the bad PUMA 6 chipset. Replaced it with the Netgear CM1000 V2 and couldn't be happier. Blazin FAST! Called Spectrum to activate , no issues , up and running in under 5 minutes!

Modem has been great so far. Extremely easy to set up and provides the speeds as advertised.

Very great for the money, Speed is awesome, Easy to configure.

I've used this to connect to COX. such an easy setup. plug in everything, including my router, and then go to cox, log into your account and click the button to setup the new modem. within 5 minutes I'm ready to go with gigabit data. +++Minimalistic look +++brightness of the lights are very minimal will not affect sleeping or during gaming ---Definitely wish the price is more user friendly, but it works well so no complaint

Originally started with buying a well known competitor product but after having issues with 3 of them (exchanges), i finally decided to go with the Netgear CM1000. Have been using it since January of this year and I've had absolutely no issues. No reboots, no signal drops, absolutely flawless product. The only thing I would say is that it lacks in the looks department but since it's going to spend its entire life in a closet, it's not an issue at all, but still ugly.
