I got this modem only because it supports Comcast's newest high speed technologies. Also with this I don't need to pay monthly rental fee for a Comcast modem. This modem is dummy proof it's literally plug and play

Boosted my speeds by 75% as my old modem was throttling me at its max, I now get 17% better speeds then I pay for(150, but get 175+ down), So I'm pretty happy. So far issues no reboots either. Very happy

Easy to set up and use. Works fine. Decent price. Have to unplug and restart occasionally, probably due to cable internet provider and not the modem, but no problems.

Super fast internet. Easy to install. This item replaces a Cablevision modem that costs $11 per month to rent. A no brainer.

This modem pad faster than my old one and will be compatible for the next free years so I’m happy. I bought the 4 year plan just in case.

I recently updated my Modem. I had the arris sb6141 and I was getting around 200mb or less . My provider is cox and I have my ultimate 300 mb. After switching to this modem, I was getting over 300mb connected and over WiFi 254 or more depending where you are too. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a good speed internet and get advantage of what you are paying for . I’m planning to change my router too for the new WiFi 6 and maybe improve more my WiFi connections. It was a bit of a pain to have cox to update my modem since it took awhile to have internet access .

Stop paying the rental fee! This is a no brainer, you on average pay 10 dollars a month for the rental fee with the modem you are provided by your internet provider (look at your bill). In one year, you have spent 120 dollars. Use that money and buy a good modem. I have a wife and two girls, ipads, apple watches, smart tv’s and me and my wife have our own ps4’s when we game. I have experienced NO ISSUES. Before with the one provided by optimum I would get issues on my roku as well as some lag when I would play.... nothing. That is all gone. Do yourself a favor and pick one up.

This modem was easy to set up, basically just plug and play, and it has sufficient speed capabilities well beyond what my ISP can actually offer so it should be good for a while.

I bought this because it's a DOCSYS 3.1 modem, and it'll be good for a long time. I was super easy to get online, and is super reliable which matters a lot to somebody who works from home. My only complaint is that the base of this could be a little more sturdy.

Unfortunately, there are only two self-owned routers you can buy for Comcast if you have speeds over 250 mbps. This modem is one of them and I chose it over the Arris docsis 3.1. Older docsis 3.0 modems will cut your speed off at 250 mbps with Comcast. I have 450mbps with Comcast and routinely test over 500mbps over wifi with the netgear nighthawk AC2300 router. Expensive modem but it will handle speeds up to 1gig and likely last you 10years so you don't have to upgrade when you get higher speeds. Compared to paying Comcast $10 plus tax every month to rent a gateway that is at best AC1250, this equipment is a bargain, will perform better than a modem/router combo gateway, and last longer.

I bought the 3.1 with anticipation that in the next few years, 3.0 will be phased out. Bottom line for all things connectivity, it's only as fast as its weakest link. We buy mid-grade service from the cable company so this modem far out performs what's coming in. Happy with the purchase.

Although I bought the wrong one and returned it because it didn't have Wi-Fi, it's quality is really good, and the speed and stability are very good.

This modem has been great for our house. While we do not have gigabit speeds at our home yet, this modem gives us the capability down the line to get those types of speeds. Depending on the Internet Service Provider, you might be better off getting the 16 channel modems, as most providers are not taking advantage of the DOSIS 3.1 standard yet. Keep in mind that if they change the standard, you would be better prepared for the future in getting this modem instead.

Was having problems with my Xfinity signal. After rewiring, there were still speed issues, so I decided to upgrade to a more current modem. Easy to set up straight out of the box. Unit delivers ~350mbps from Xfinity throughout most of the house.

Very easy to setup and use. I paired mine with the Asus - AC3100. A lot of the downloads now are capped by my HDD transfer rate. If you have comcast gigabit, you can't go wrong with this modem.

Netgear cable modem has a nice design, very easy to hook up. DOCSIS 3.1 is the latest. Works with Comcast cable, don't have to rent their cable modem.
