Since switching to this modem, we have seen a noticeable difference in speed and reliability while using multiple devices at the same time.

This was one of the easier devices I had to set up. Plus for $100.00, I am able to connect 5 of my devices along with my son’s Xbox without any lag.

Upgraded my Internet Speed to 1GB. Perfect cable modem. Easy to setup and my internet speed is solid! Would definitely recommend.

If you yiu have 1 GB internet speed you will need this to get max speed. This modem rocks I'm getting 966mb on speed test. Can definitely tell the difference. Only con is in have a nighthawk router and when I hooked up this modem the router didnt recognize it . I had to call Netgear and they tried to tell me it would cost $50 to get them to help me hook it up. I said are you kidding me how does a netgear router not recognize a netgear modem. They ended up sending me an email with instructions in how to clone a mac address to get it to work. Now it works great

This modem has been a wonder. My wifi was terrible before but it helped solve some of our hardware issue. It’s been very easy to use!

Arris 3.1 failed twice on me. bought this intead after returning Arris. easy set up trouble free operation very satisfied

It’s fast with a 1g line into the house. Haven’t had any down load issues at all. Easy set up. Dropped cable and not looking back.

Easy to install and vastly improved speed as compared to using modem/router provided by Xfinity. I highly recommend!

I like the cable modem because it did not give me any problem with the installation and also because it actually delivers data at a little less than 1 gbs

Very fast and works with Mediacom Xtream. Much better speeds than we got renting a modem through the cable company.

It's a cable modem.......... but. Netgear has a terrible reputation. I purchased this one and a arris 8200. Comparing the two, I didn't run into any issues other then neither one will get to the activation garden "xfinity". You'll have to call in and give them the MAC address to swap. The arris seems to hit max bandwidth much before the netgear. Also netgear has an average of 2ms additional lag overall during testing. As for the puma test. This passes with flying colors as well as the other 3.1 modem. I have noticed the 8200 runs hotter externally then the netgear. But this could be due to the big heat sink, smaller footprint. The netgear felt cooler on the outside. Not sure if it's letting the heat escape or because it is a bigger unit. I.e. More air. Either of them are a winner for the chicken dinner. I'm subscribed to 300Mbps. With this modem I received 358 down 30 up

Simple to set up and and handles multiple wired and wireless devices easily.

I bought this to replace my rental from the cable company. It's easy to set up and is getting the speed I expected.

I upgraded my internet plan to a high speed package. Was looking for a dependable modem. I have used Netgear N600 combo modem router in the past and had a good experience. Stuck with Netgear and went for a separate Modem and WiFi router configuration this time around. I am using the Netgear CM1000-100NAS modem with the Nighthawk Wifi router R7000P-100NAS. I am able to get upto 200Mb/s download and 12 Mb/s uploads. I felt it was pricey but I was looking for something to last for a couple of years.

This modem just takes anything thrown at it. Definitely a big upgrade to what I had before. Nothing but high speed from here

I replaced my Xfinity rental an can't be happier It's fast ... i use it with Orbi satellites and saves me money on my internet bill!

I replace an old Linksys modem with this. I got this one because I wanted the DOCSIS 3,1 capability. It adds a lot of speed!!
