Our cable internet had been sporadic at times and I was having to reset the modem almost daily. The cable company suggested that I replace a 3.0:modem with a 3.1. Since replacing the old modem I have not had to reset the modem.

Pretty straight forward installation, works great and it's fast. Mainly got it because it's the best option for my current ISP.

Bought this when I switched from Comcast TV to Xfinity 800MB internet only. It runs 5 Apple TV boxes, 2 iMacs, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, 2 kindles, 2 Ecobee thermostats, 8 Arlo Security cameras, and 2 Arlo base station/recorders, through a Linksys 4 unit Mesh system. All without missing a beat…. Seriously, what’s not to like?

Have nothing bad to say about this modem. It can handle up to 1 gig at least. My router is the nighthawk R7000p Flash with dd-wwrt. My spectrum plan in 400 Megabits per second. I push around 407 depending is spectrum has any problems. if you having any problems it normally operator error or your internet provider. That's 80% on your provider.

This has been a good modem with fairly easy setup on WOW network. Two problems. It comes with an added security program I don't need especially as it costs $$ per month. Half what my internet connection costs. Second I have problems with the network dropping off my PC while I have a network connection. Think I fixed that. A MS WIN10 problem. Took a while to find the limited data setting on Windows. I don't think it is the modem.

Easy setup, fast speeds, user friendly process to manage it.

I was using another cable modem and every time I will have an outage the modem would break. (twice already) So I decided to buy the NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem - Black and it is the best. Also my speeds went up. I was averaging about 800 to 860. Since I bought the NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem - Black my speeds went up to 930+. I fully recommend this cable modem. Make sure your area is available to use this cable modem 3.1.

very nice docsis 3.1 modem, have had no problems with cox - very easy to setup and is very fast comparable to my previous modem.

I acquired this modem in order to access my recently upgraded ISP service which was unavailable through my old Arris DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I initially tried the DOCSIS 3.1 Arris modem, but wasn't happy with it's performance. Then after reading several favorable reviews on this Neatgear modem I decided to give it a try. I am fully satisfied as I am now cranking out the ISP speeds I am paying for.

Very fast speeds up and down. 32 channels down and 8 channels up, and the latest DOCSIS 3.1 firmware.

Better than Mediacom gives. Increased my speed greatly! It was easy to set up and worked right out of the box.

Good modem that resolved some issues we have been having with consistent connection. Easy to set up and view the settings with the netgear app.

I have to say that over the years, I’ve used different Modems but none have compared to the ease, the consistency of speed, as much as this netgear has! I have to yet to have any problems with it and once in and accessing the gateway settings, it just couldn’t be easier to make changes. Honestly hands down, worth the purchase. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world, as looks concern, but it’ll do more than get the job done

Nighthawk lives up to the specs, and if you have metronet, it can handle the 1gig speed. It must be kept in well vented area, as it does stay warm.
