Have used this combined with the Netgear Nighthawk mesh system for almost 3 months now. Not a single issue, a million times better than the combo units. Easy install and even easier to connect to.

Initially, I had difficulty installing the new device in place of the old; COmcast's automated set up only recognized it in another place in my home. But it worked, for a while. Ultimately folks at NETGEAR determined that the signal I was getting from COMCAST was not to parameters. Once Comcast fixed it, it has worked great ever since.

For the last 2 years we have paid for 1G cable speed, but never reached anywhere near it on our computer. After going round and round with our cable company, we decided not to rent monthly their newest cable modem. After changing it our for the Netgear Nighthawk, we can stream and play games without any buffering. It is a real God send to us during the pandemic.

Netgear has always been my go to for internet and networking. Their products are high quality and easy to use while not breaking the bank. Yes, they sometimes cost a bit more than the alternatives next to them, but I have never had an issue with Netgear equipment.

It has been a very long time since I upgraded my cable modem. Back then modems were very cheap. Since I had Netgear before, wasn’t planning on getting another one. Wasn’t totally happy with it. However, after getting through the shock of how exoensive they are now, purchased on other one. This product has great Wi-Fi reception and easy set up. So far so good.

I went with this stand-alone DOCSIS 3.1 modem in order to future-proof my cable modem setup. While most cable companies support DOCSIS 3.1, most modems can support high speeds with DOCSIS 3.0. If and when the time comes that DOCSIS 3.1 becomes mandatory, getting this cable modem will get you ahead of the game. You'll be fine without having to upgrade. Speeds are faster than the plan I pay for and I've had no problems.

Easy to use and is Cox-compatible. On the pricier side, but BB employee said it will be compatible with 5G if it ever is implemented in the US.
