I loved it while I had it but I had to return it because I got fiber Internet put in and they don’t use it. It was really powerful and did a good job and you can’t go on purchasing this.

(Note: If you are a Xfinity customer who has voice service, this modem is not compatible with Xfinity Voice because it's not a voice gateway, and the box explicitly states that.) If you're a Xfinity customer that really wants to maximize their home internet speed and maximize their home wireless speed, this is one half of your solution. This cable modem is DOCSIS 3.1-compatible so it will support all maximum bandwidth in that specification. All the hardware that Xfinity offers have sub-par wireless routers, so your better off using this cable modem with your choice of wireless router. I paired this cable modem with the Linksys EA9500 Max-Stream AC5400 MU-MIMO Gigabit Router. My home wireless internet is the fastest it's ever been. As an added bonus for Xfinity customers, if you buy this cable modem and register it with them, you no longer have to rent a cable modem from them at $10/month.

This router works well with my Comcast Internet. Allows multiple devices to connect to the modem at once.

I purchased this cable modem because Comcast started advertising 1Gbps internet would be coming to this area soon. Well, it's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for Comcast. Was very easy to get this modem installed and working with the current 250 Mbps Comcast service and it has no trouble maxing out my plan. Has been rock solid for the 3 months I've had it.

The unit was a replacement for a Netgear CM1200 which failed. The CM2000 is part of mesh from ARRIS. Comcast is coming with a 2k down load speed in 2021. I pay extra for the high speed. I'm pretty sure Comcast will charge more for the 2k speed. The CM2000 is future proof, capable of up to 2.5 kbs. It only has one RJ45 outpu. The CM1200 has 4 RJ45 connections. I did a speed test my down load speed was over 1.2kbps with only a 1kbps service. A very good results from CM2000. A good buy I did buy the extended warranty from BB.

This modem has opened up the possibility of receiving the promised speeds we are paying for. Forget renting the equipment from your ISP, which is probably older than the Declaration of Independence. Get your modem, don’t half your speed, and live your life!
