Save the ~$7 a month it costs for your modem rental, and this modem pays for itself after nearly a year. It's nice to have paid an upfront cost, and less monthly, and after the 13th month it will be a persistent savings. The speeds are fast, and the device could easily accept a quicker connection than my 1GB leased line, so I am very happy with this purchase.

very easy to set up, great speed, we haven't had any laging

I bought this modem a few weeks ago and so far there have been no hiccups. The speeds I get are >500 Mbps download and about 25Mbps upload with latencies around 10ms. It handles all this pretty well, given the fact that there are times that we play games, watch Netflix and Stream YouTube simultaneously and there still isn't any problems. The only con is that it can be a bit pricey.

I needed this modem to get the full speed I was paying for with my internet provider. This worked well after it was installed. The installation took a little bit of time to do, but most of it was time spent with the internet company and not an issue with this product. Excellent product and has never failed since installed.

Excellent, excellent, excellent modem, and Works much, much better than the local modem and router we were leasing, we got the matching router to this mode.

Decided instead of paying a monthly service fee, we'd purchase our own modem. It was up and running in minutes after the technician connected and activated our service. I have it connected to a Netgear AC1600 router which connects to a MeshForce Whole Home Mesh WiFi System. Overall, decent performance with this setup with typically 10+ devices connected.

There’s absolutely nothing I could say wrong about this modem because it’s so Next Gen. they haven’t even introduced the technology that this supports yet. But as far as easy install, it’s definitely that easy. My previously modem was actually a [g] which was the newest thing since ‘dial up’. So for now I’m just happy living in the 21st century and being updated with all you fine folks.

This is pricey, and it is only the modem, but it is worth every penny. It is rock solid and fast which is exactly what I was looking for. I paired it with a TP-Link 5400 and my home network is amazing. Plus it pays for itself in slightly over a year when you can stop paying comcast for renting their modem. I have had it for a couple months now and it has worked to perfection.

This was very easy to set up, update and secure the internet. Supports high speed.

I got this modem, because it was the only one at the time that was DOCSIS 3.1 that did not have the Intel Puma chipset, that major security threats+High Pact loss. This Modem use Boardcom chipset. I had one major problem in the first 4 months, the modem was disconnecting randomly. Turns out I felt the modem it was very hot. I opened the modem and reapplied artic silver 5 thermal paste. Works great Now. Though this voids the warranty sadly. For tech savvy people it good. Not recommended for people who don't know about electronics or pcs. I would buy again, but some may buy a new one ever three months.
