Very fast. A bit spendy. A bit of a pain to set up. Haven't had to reboot for the past several weeks we've had it. I actually would have gone with a different Motorola docsis 3.1 modem because it had 3x the top speed of this unit. But I don't even have 1 gb internet right now, and that should be plenty fast for the foreseeable future. OK then.

I changed out my leased cable modem and purchased this modem. Best decision ever! Super fast and has made a difference in my streaming. I have over 25 connected devices on WiFi, including surveillance cameras, smart locks, tablets, printers, computers, laptops, etc... I pay for 400mbps of speed and with this modem, I’m getting more than 400. No delay in streaming either.

Had a great DOCSIS 3.0 modem but when I renewed my plan with Comcast it came with a faster internet plan and I was forced to purchase a DOCSIS 3.1 modem because the system wouldn't allow me to just use the old modem and lose 16Mbps difference. Normally not a Netgear fan, especially their routers, but this one was on sale and so far it works good. The only downside is that it took a bit to get activated (longer than it should have). Since it's been activated I haven't had to reboot it and I have had 0 issues with it at all. Definitely would recommend this product.

I upgraded my speed with my ISP to 1 Gbps but my old Arris modem wouldn't cut it. After doing some research and I narrowed down to Motorola and this Netgear CM1000. I've had several Netgear products before and they are all pretty reliable so I decided to give it a try. I managed to get close to 1 Gbps with this modem. When I did a raw wired test, I could hit the speed to around 980 Mbps consistently.

Received message from carrier that I should update my modem, as they were increasing the speed as part of my triple package deal. I initially purchased a different brand which after hours of trial and error was determined to be incompatible with cable carrier in spite of being on their list of approved modems. I returned it for a refund and purchased the Netgear CM1000 with minimal effort to install and use. Highly recommend!

For just simple plug and play (after calling provider) I used it for a few days before getting a router since its only a modem. Over 2 months straight no issues

Fantastic modem! My wife and I came from a service provider that would give us about 25 mbps on average. We moved to another state with gigabyte internet and we purchased this modem ahead of time, paired with an Orbi for wi-fi. Now we consistently are getting 500-600 mbps so we think both products are outstanding!

My ISP upgraded my bandwidth from 100mb to gigabit. This required a docsis 3.1 modem. I chose this product to match the Netgear router. Installation was quick, even found the ISP phone number needed to complete provisioning process. In use for a month now, no problems or hic ups.

Using this modem in place of the cable companies modem. Great performance and price.

Solid tech if you can utilize its max speeds. Setup is easy and straightforward. Wasnt hitting max speeds with Xfinity at 1gb+ so there seems to be a throttle of some kind. Not sure how to explain it though.

This Docsis 3.1 modem was a great price. This was purchased to keep up Xfinity service that keeps getting upgraded all the time. The unit will handle a Gig service

The modem is great. Set up was very easy. The only downfall was the one ethernet port. So I bought an 8 port switch and all is good.
