BlaZing fast. Easy to setup. Connected to Google Wifi mesh with no issue

We bought this modem because we needed to insure that our internet was strong enough for virtual schooling for high school, college, post grad as well as being about to conduct Zoom meetings and perform job. The ISP modem just wasn't cutting it. This has been perfect. We are not tech savvy people AT ALL and the set up and install was easy.

I purchased this modem to use with Cox cable internet service currently at 300 mbit claimed speed. My 4 year-old docsis 2.0 modem could only do 33 mbit. Changing nothing else, this modem tested at 330 mbit down and 35 mbit up. You will have to register it with the provider. In my case, this saves me $10 per month modem rental fees so it will take me less than 18 months to be money ahead.

Needed a new modem, our old one was a DOCSIS 3.0 and could not handle the newer speeds available. We have a 300x20 package and the old modem would barely get 250mb stable. With this new modem I get over 350mb down and over 40mb up. Its a great modem with an easy interface if you need to reboot it and not want to go unplug it.

Love this modem. It does everything you could want from a modem. You'll want to check your carrier supported list (they vary on which channels they use apparently and has to match the carrier to get the full bandwidth out of it). Only needed to spend the premium prices if you are using Comcast higher bandwidth services, but this modem is blazing assuming the carrier can deliver it to the modem.

Easy to install and set up. Took more time to call my cable company and have them reset the hardware on their end. Works well for working from home with large data files back and forth. Been using it for a few months now with no complaints. Just don't forget to return the equipment to the cable company if you're just getting your own.

ive been through a lot of internet hard ware and this paired with the "NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX1800 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2-Pack) - Black" is capable of very high speeds and excellent coverage. keeps up with a security system, multiple devices, tvs, phones, computers, playstation, thermostat everything..... and it does very well

Switched from my old Arris Motorola Surf Board 6141 modem to the NETGEAR CM1000 on my Mediacom network that supposedly had 100 mbs. My speed went from 65 Mbs to 130 Mbs immediately. Could not believe the change. Helped immensely with my other devices. Network router attached. Recommend this to anyone needing more bandwidth who may still be on older modem.

Pretty basic device that has given me 0 issues as long as I've owned it. I prefer to own my equipment rather than perpetually rent it from the cable company and this enables that goal.

Upgraded my internet speed which required a new modem and this one did the trick. I haven't had any issue with connection drops or anything since setting it up. Speeds are what I should be getting and my ping is super low.

For anyone wanting to cut the the strings of renting a modem from your Internet provider, this one is amazing. Highly recommended
