SO glad I bought this. Nighthawk was simple plug and play. You need to call your cable company to give them the IP address but after that- I FINALLY was up to the 400+ MB/PS download speeds I was paying for. Also great to have a significant range increase. No more dead spots and no slow cable company rental each month! Simply incredible product.

So far, so good!! This was easy to install and along with the companion router is saving me from paying Comcast each month for their tower unit, which combines a router and modem. I have also found that the system is giving me better coverage around the house than I was getting before, so I am quite pleased.

I bought this so that I wouldn't have to pay the monthly rental fee for a Comcast cable modem. Did some research and found this had the best ratings and had a price point I was comfortable with. I have been highly satisfied with the results so far. I've had no technical issues, internet is super fast and sends it right on to my router.

To take full advantage of this modem, you'll need to subscribe to gigabit service from your ISP. However, it works well with the other tiers of service speed. You will also need a fast router for the best speeds to and from your devices, otherwise you're still limited to the max speed your router can provide. I have the Netgear R8900 and it works really well with this modem.

Great router - extremely fast and reliable have not had any downtime

We needed to get a new modem as our previous one was getting outdated so went on Xfinity's website and saw this one as compatible. Main reason we got this is that this has the 3.1 DOCSIS capability so once that is available in my area I will already have the modem to do it and not have to upgrade again. Right away we noticed an improvement in our internet services.

Bought this modem to replace a rental from cable company. The rental had to be reset daily with cable company assurance that the service to the modem was excellent. Tried multiple replacements for the rental from cable company. Finally, decided to purchase this modem and it has been sterling. Never been restarted and performs wonderfully.

I recently upgraded to 1 Gbps service from Xfinity and needed to upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. Setup was easy and I was up and running (without the need for an Xfinity tech!) in less than 5 minutes. I also like the physical profile of this unit, especially compared to the ARRIS/Motorola units and their white case/blinding status lights. This one makes its presence known much less.

Very good I don’t complain at all it really meets my expectations

I have had issues with Routers in the past. Not as result of Best Buy but rather with my ISP. I am currently with WOW, that said Best Buy was great at working with me exchanging product to finally end up with this one. Since we have installed this unit, internet has been stable and fast. ONE TIP make sure your router can keep up if you are migrating past 100Mb.

This Modem is the Modem of the future. Speed and connectivity is at its best.
