Worked Perfectly. Gave me fast speeds and connection

I have Comcast, and had noticed that my old modem was on its last leg, so I decided to future proof my home network. i called Comcast, gave them some info on the modem, and they had me up and running in about 10-15 minutes (after I had a live person on the phone). I can say the speed on this is better than my old DOCSIS 3.0 so far.

Less than two months in . It has been very fast and reliable for me . Currently only I have been using the internet .

This replaced a modem that was perhaps 5+ YO and finally quit. A Best Buy employee was quite helpful in steering us toward this unit. Much faster (of course) appears to be of very good quality. Well worth considering if you're in need of a cable modem

I always read the negative reviews for problems. That's why I'm rating this 3 stars. It really should be a 4 star. I connected a laptop directly to the modem to get it configured by Xfinity. After that, I connected my Netgear mesh router to the modem, but the router can't connect to the internet. I had to call Netgear support. They walked me through a long sequence of various on/off and connections of cable and ethernet. After that, everything works fine. I'm getting fantastic speed. It's possible that the problem is with Xfinity, but I doubt it. I just think that Netgear equipment should plug and play. It was a very frustrating few hours.

Very easy setup and I'm getting some amazing speeds from it.

Replaced my Arris Surfboard modem because it decided to start disconnecting me from the internet frequently. This one works well. I am writing this because I want the 25 Best Buy points that are offered for my review.

Purchased because I was having xfinity internet installed and this modem was on the comparability list. Not only did i get it at a super discounted price on bestbuy but it was cheaper than its preceding model. Highly recommended, especially paired with the EERO Mesh wifi system.

My netgear modem increased my internet speed tremendously. I rarely have to experience any buffering when I am streaming my cable channels thru my provider.

It seems to be working very, very well. I can tell a difference in the speed of the Internet & other devices that goes thru the Wifi. Pleased with my purchase.

Good, east to install, but drops internet frequently. I have company, and even with their previous sanctioned Motorola I would lose internet, but not as frequently, almost daily now. But this unit is indeed faster and maybe that's the price you pay. Also I like the handy reset button since I have CTO vise it so much. Other units made you unplug and wait 20 seconds or longer. Construction is solid and I like the subdued dashboard lights which are less distracting than those bright blinking leds.

Replaced my providers modem with this. Its so much better , reliable. I had nothing but problems with the rental modem and after doing the math of being charge 10-15 a month rental fee i figured id buy my own and save money no complaints at all

Shortly before installing my NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem my old modem download speed triple test results averaged 19 to 25 megs per. Immediately after installing the NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem my download speeds jump to 80 to 95 megs in a triple test! What an improvement!! EXCELLENT MODEM!

I always upgrade my internet hardware to ensure I’m getting the speeds I’m paying for as well as keeping my network updated and safe. The speed of your internet will depend on what plan you have and this router will keep up with the fastest residential speeds.

Bought this to replace an Arris modem Cox gave me that combined DOCSIS 3.1 and telephone because that thing was junk (internet dropping 5-8 times per day, every day. This thing is effectively invisible with no interventions required since installed it. Highly recommended.

Reliable and solid gear. Although I initially had some difficulty accessing the configuration menu due to network settings, the modem has been consistent and maintains a solid connection to my ISP (once they replaced the water-filled, damaged cable to my home).
