This a great cable modem to use at home. I truly recommend it when you are trying to connect to your cable provider. We had to return it ours because our cable provider said we didn’t need one. The cable company use theirs and we were already being charged on our bill for the cable modem box.

Wonderful Modem. People complain a lot of internet issues at my place with the ISP modem and router. That's why I decided to go with this and haven't had a single issue so far. Reliable performance.

This unit is the basis for the blazing fast Wifi via the eero - Pro 6+ ... Gigabit into the house ... this unit feeds the eero nods ... they can only be fast if the router ahead is also super fast.

we signed up for Mediacom internet and chose to purchase a modem outright rather than pay a monthly rental fee. This is one of the modems they recommended. I was familiar with the netgear brand so chose this one. works great!

This has been a solid modem. It was very easy to set up and I haven't run into a single issue with my ISP while using it. I have recommended this modem to all my friends who have been looking to upgrade to wifi 6 on their home network.

I bought this modem because I canceled some services with my local cable service and in doing so I had to return my phone/internet modem and I did not want to pay to rent a cable modem from my local cable co. I bought this modem because it is a Docsis 3.1 and it future proof as for internet speed tiers.

Bought this on a recommendation from a friend that works for Spectrum. He said to buy this to save on the monthly rental charge that Spectrum charges its customers for their Cable Modem. This one is way better and saves you money in the long haul. What more can you ask for?!

This modem has been very reliable, with a rock-solid performance. The reporting/logging capability has helped diagnose issues with the internet provider's distribution system and quickly squelch their attempts to blame my internal network.

My cable company has the option to purchase your own modem as long as it was compatible. It was the best investment. I'm saving hundred of dollars each year not renting a modem. I have gigabit service and i still get the full range of my internet. It a great modem.

This is the second Nighthawk CM1000 I've purchased. I'm a n avid gamer and streamer and this modem works great. It's stable and pairs perfectly with our nighthawk router for our home mesh network.

Pretty fast. But a pain to set up with Comcast. Took a 30 minute call to do it. Bought it day one and it took like 4 days to set up. Make sure that mac address will work with Ccast.

Purchased to replace an older modem that was no longer compliant with current security standards. Easy plug and play setup with the Comcast app. The speed has been as expected and logging into it to check settings was easy as well.

Docsis 3.1 while a minute technical details enabled our new cable modem service to deliver 1 Gbps to the house over Gigabit Ethernet service. Of equal importance is using this you avoid paying Comcast $12 / month. Amazingly there are still people paying AT&T & Verizon / month for their home phone handsets!

It is an excellent modem. The price was extremely reasonable. It is exactly what we needed.

I originally purchased an ARRIS SB8200 cable modem when I upgraded to 500 Mbps service with Mediacom. The connection was unstable and I experienced a lot of random disconnects. I returned it and purchased this modem which has proven to be very stable and provides speeds that are fast and consistent.
