It does a great job replacing my Comcast rental gateway. I combined it with a Luxul router and it handles all of my devices just fine. I typically have about 60-70 devices on line at any given time between Thermostats, surveillance, home office, entertainment (TVs and Sonos) and phones. It was an easy replacement with Comcast.

Easy and quick to setup, just connect to Wireless Router with the supplied network cable, connect coax (cable company) and then call your cable provider to get the device registered with them and your account. I replaced a DOCSIS 3.0 modem with this, for the higher speeds

Cable company informed me that some lag issues I was having was my older cable modem and suggested I upgrade it. This one met all the specs for my current provider as well as specs for the next upgrade my provider is planning. Once installed, I noticed no more lag on my devices.

Old modem died, needed a quick replacement since no one wants to "rent" one from our cable provider. Old one had been performing poorly so this was a refreshing boost in performance , easy to get up and running for WOW Cable.

Works just fine! I purchased this because I didn’t want to pay the cable company monthly for use of their equipment. So glad I did! This works just fine and I’m going to save money in the long run!

Doesn't get to me a gig on speeds, but I have been getting around 650+ mpbs. It is decent. Only has one ethernet port, but my router has two additional so no big deal. I hate Netgear's customer/technical service though. Beware of that. I have not had any issues whatsoever with this, but I thought I did and had to call Netgear and they were just bad.

Super easy to set up and use. I’m happy with this mode so far. It seems to be working as expected and I like that the status lights are not so bright. They’re very subtle.

I got tired of paying the cable company to rent inferior modems. It only makes sense to buy one imo. I figured get one that was a little future proof with the 3.1. I have had zero issues with this product. The quality is obviously seen right out of the box.

This modem complies with DOCSIS 3.1, which means that you can get speeds of up to 1 Gbps (if you have signed up for that with your cable company). I have Xfinity Performance Internet which is supposed to be 150 Mbps but I routinely get better than 160 Mbps on Ookla's Speed Test.

My internet has always been so weak and disconnects all the time until I purchased this and it has been the best. No more problems at all.

Works great! I recommend this modem to everyone. Easy to set up. Using this with RCN. All I had to do was call them to have it set up with my account. Now saving money monthly by not renting equipment.

My Internet speed increased exponentially when I started using this Netgear Modem combined with my Ultra Max Speed WiFi Router connected to my ultra speed internet service. All of my devices are operating at the optimum performance level.

Works great! 2020 found us overloading our old router with everyone working or studying from home. We had to reset the old router about once a day. We haven’t had any connection issues since upgrading to this one. Very satisfied.

Replaced the comcast modem and save their monthly rental fee, while seeing a dramatic uptick in overall speeds of my network. Recommend going with this if you are locked into a rental fee with your cable internet provider for better performance.

Is a lot better than the ones the cable company provides. Made it seem like I had a speed increase when we hooked it up compared to cable provided one but we didn’t.

What a great modem. Netgear does it again with the Nighthawk. Easy to set up. It took longer to speak to my network provider than it did to initially set up the modem. I had no issues syncing to my Eeros mesh.
