I mean what can you say? How many cable modems does the average person go through? I can say after a few weeks of usage I am seeing a more stable connection and running a few speed tests I’m seeing an improvement over my old surfboard 6141.

Excellent modem to go with the router we got. Works with WOW services with a quick call to customer service to relay some information about it. Speeds are great.

This has been a great experience. Upgraded to the gigablast internet with Cox and it is zooming fast. Having multiple devices online at once really makes it easier to get work completed.

Great purchase! Internet has been faster compared to renter modem that my ISP provided.

Bought to offset the lease fee for the Xfinity modem. It will take few month, but well worth the long term investment. Speeds are as advertised for both uploading and downloading. Couldn't be happier.

Replacement for surfboard, runs better and is faster

The modem is quiet, not hot, and plugs right in. No issues with COX gigablast support. You have to call COX to sync it up, but that is needed for any new modem. I'm happy with the purchase.

Haven't had any problems with my household and we heavily use the internet. Very quick to set up and I have not run into any problems with it. (I have it on spectrum)

Able to return Comcast modem and save some $. Easy hookup with call to Comcast. Needed to get additional wireless router from comcast to run home security screen as their equipment can't use private home router signal.

I didn't know what to expect, I have 1000 mbps service and thought this was what I needed to get up to speed, I spent many hours waiting as a computer tech hired by netgear worked on getting me set up. This is the first time I ever bought a modem and router separate and I didn't gain anything except a bunch of headaches.

I am currently getting over 150 Mbps on Comcast, and this modem has room for more. I have been using this for almost a year now and with my Nighthawk router, I think I have had to restart the modem and router maybe once.

Dropped cable. Kept the WiFi only. Needed a new modem as I didn’t want to rent the cable service modem. I already had a router. Easy to install. I’m a 69 yr old woman with a clue. All is good.

After spending an inordinate amount of time and phone calls with a new high performance modem from a prior "favorite" which I eventually returned to retailer, I purchased this Netgear-CM1000 Router. Excellent buy! Outstanding performance!

The setup was a breeze. Connected the cable modem, followed the simple instructions, Bingo. No fuss, no muss! The cable modem is fast, I saw a speed increase from my previous modem, and it has not dropped the connection since I installed it.

Works wonders! Be sure to talk with your ISP to register in their network so you can use it properly. The speeds I am getting is on or near the expected speed that I am paying for!
