Xfinity tech support always takes forever to enable user owned equipment -- but when it is done -- it just works. Unit itself supports top download speeds and works great paired to a wifi router like those from Apple.

It's used for Comcast 1000 mbps. I consistently get 940 mbps speed with ookla. The plastic housing looks cheap but it does the job!

When I decided to cut the cable I needed a modem that would handle fast speed internet for multiple devices, this modem was perfect.

This product is very useful if you do not have a home telephone line. If you do have a home line installed, this product will not work with it since it is lacking the necessary port. Usually, the company that you have the home line with offers a free modem with the necessary port that can work with Wi-Fi systems.

I'm able to get near gigabit speeds over cable internet with this router. Seems well ventilated too.

Easy setup, works great with Comcast and easy for them to setup to work with your internet if your replacing you rented equipment.
