    I I had no difficulty setting up this cable modem, which I got to replace one that often dropped my connection. I gave the cable company the new MAC address, and they did their magic and checked that it was working. That was two weeks ago, and I have had no connection troubles.

    Bought this for use with Xfinity Gigabit speed. I got some decent speed with it and the new router, but not what Xfinity advertised. I'm sure it has to do with years old coax cable

    Went with Netgear to upgrade to 3.2 for higher transfer rates since I had an Orbi router already. Easy setup. Only issue was I had to contact my Internet provider to add this modems MAC address to enable it on my account. There should be a note in the set up instructions to do that.
