I have a 1 gig internet and made the mistake at first to buy a 3.0 system. You can only get the full potential of 1 gig internet from a 3.1 modem like this one. Ive used this product for 2 months now with a x6 nighthawk and i have absolutely no issues with this modem at all. Well worth the money.

Having purchased a condo, second home, on the East Coast to be near grandkids we needed a complete new set up and our provider suggested we talk to BestBuy and we are more than pleased with the Netgear 32. It is better, faster and more reliable over all previously owned units.

I have always been one to purchase my networking gear and not rent it. So when my old cable modem decided to fail I was looking to replace it with a one of the new DOCSIS 3.1 versions that have become available. I was a bit surprised at how much more they cost than the 3.0 versions. But my last modem probably lasted over 5 years so I did want one that was future proof. One feature here that I was not expecting was how easy it was to activate. I never had to call my cable provider and it was up and running in probably less than 30 minutes. No time on hold, no failed activation attempts. With just a verification of my home address and it was activated and working. It could not have been easier. I have a 150 MB down plan and after putting this is service I was getting 180 MB speeds. Yes the price was a bit of a shock but I have had great experience with Netgear products and I am now mostly future proof and glad I did spend the extra money. Kiddo to the setup Netgear and thanks for the extra speed.

Consistently getting 980mbit+ Down and 55mbps up with this modem on xfinity, using ubiquity edge router ER-x router (had to enable he offloading to support gigabit wan) and ubiquiti access points Modem has been rock solid for 7 months now

Quick, simple setup. Very fast connection. I highly recommend this modem! (Stay away from Motorola!)

I bought it to cut the rent cost of my RCN provided modem $10/month. Didn't know if it was compatible with RCN because nobody could confirm it beforehand. Not even RCN confirms if the modem works. They just give the characteristics the modem needs to meet for my 550 Mb connection (DOCSIS 3.1, 32x8 channles ) which this modem meets. Called support tech and after 20 min waiting for them to pick up and another 10-15 for their configuration, I can confirm the modem connected and works giving the expected speed and exceeding it in some cases. If everything continue to go well, the modem should pay itself in 16 months.

My aging internet hardware was starting to cause major problems with random signal drops and intermittent throttling. I decided to upgrade to the DOCSIS 3.1 CM1000 modem by NETGEAR, and never looked back. Internet is not only faster now, but doesn't skip a beat.

I just changed over to Xfinity 1000 Mbps wifi. They provided a router/modem combo. The modem was reading 650 at the max. So I upgraded to this modem. It now is rocking 900-1000 Mbps. Not a bad price either. Switch to this you won't regret it.

Replacement for one that was struck by lightning. Went just a modem this time and a separate mesh system. Nice setup, works, excellent, so much better than the modem/router combo we had before.

I have Spectrum Gigabit Internet service and Initially I had a ARRISS SB8200 Modem but the the modem started experiencing dropouts according to Spectrum. I decided to try the Netgear CM1000 Modem and it has excellent performance without dropouts and it boots fast

Needed a new higher speed modem for internet upgrade. Internet company recmended three different brand models. Talked to the Best Buy associate who was outstanding with all his descriptions. I chose the NetgearCM1000. Easy setup, and it worked flawlessly with no problems then or now.

If you are currently renting a modem, and have a fast internet plan, then this is a great, future-proof modem. I upgraded to gigabit internet with Comcast, and the tech recommended against their modem, so I headed to BB and grabbed this one. Setup is super simple, and it is blazing fast.

Using with Mediacom 1 gig service. This replaced the junk rental I was using they provided. Installs in minutes and only required a quick call to mediacom tech support to add to my acct. 10 minute call tops. My internet is easily 3x faster and a lot stronger
