Easy setup very fast internet speed on Xfinity. Very happy with this modem.

Solid cable modem. Needed to upgrade to DOCSIS 3.1 and this one has been solid for 9+ months of ownership. Don't know if I've ever had to reboot it or spent time doing any type of troubleshooting on it.

This is a great modem! I upgraded my service to do 400mbps and this is just what I needed. My last modem could only go up to 250, so that wasnt going to cut it. Installation was easy and it looks pretty slick next to my nighthawk router.

Smooth, crisp and fast. Easy to use and stable once connected. A bit more powerful than I initially need but bought with the idea of future proofing and wouldn’t look back. Would definitely recommend.

I waited too long to upgrade my modem to this model and missed out on faster speeds available through my carrier, Comcast Xfinity. Since upgrading, I've noticed not also faster downloads but fewer needs to restart. Very good product.

I replaced my not-so-old Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 with this model and it just works. Because it is also a Netgear product and uses the same power plug, I was able to simply replace it and have it up and running in a few minutes. The improved DOCSIS 3.1 hardware definitely works better with my cable system and my connection is more stable and the 1Gbps speed ensures I am getting the most from my subscription.

I purchased this modem to get ready for Docsis 3.1 on Comcast. Even though it is operating as a Docsis3.0 modem right now, it has been rock solid. No noticeable dropouts or need to reboot.

A bit overkill for my needs but no lag when streaming pairs nice with the Netgear nighthawk. No lag when playing video games. Fastest internet I’ve had.

this is a great modem. my other one failed and i had to have something that day due to working at home due to the coronavirus. Checked Best Buy, they had it, and it was up and running in 5 minutes.

Plugged it in, powered on and in less than 10 minutes I was on Xfinity service. No issues in 3 weeks. I have signed up for 150 Mbps service but Speedtest has reported up to 179 Mbps. Soooo much faster than my 12 Mbps DSL service.

Was having troubles with my internet connection. Narrowed it down to both some cabling and modem problems. Optimum repaired the line and I replaced the modem. Have fantastic download speeds now. Would highly recommend this one plus you don't have to pay that monthly rental fee to the cable company.

So far working well. Didn’t realize how much my old modem was struggling till upgrading to this. Speeds are much improved. Caught it on sale too thankfully. At least my old modem had the curtesy to die around Black Friday.

I just updated my modem bc I was haveing some lag issues and thought it was my internet company first, but then I noticed that some games ran fine while others were lagish. I bought this one to try out and haven’t had issues since.

Netgear has produced a great cable modem that fully utilizes all the enhanced resources in DOCSIS 3.1 I pay for Comcast 300 mbps and on speedtest regularly receive 340 to 370 with this modem. Added bonus no rental fees from Comcast.

I purchased this modem when I switched from Comcast Xfinity to Century Link. I needed a modem that was compatible with the internet provider. It worked well but after doing a more in depth research I leaned that this modem is more than I needed at the time and in the near future. The reason I returned this modem was because Century Link (or some other internet providers) are not all nationwide or provide service in all major or smaller cities. Since I am moving in 2020 to a dogfeeent city having this modem may not be needed it may not be compatible with other internet providers. Also, the DOCSIS 3.1 is a very new technology and by the time this is nationwide standard this modem may be old or obsolete therefore I chose to return it and rent the one from my provider at this time until another unit comes out at a lesser price. For the most, it worked very well and I have no complains of this modem. The “one star” is for the price for the new technology and it’s price tag. I still recommended if you are to stay put in your current location but for someone like me who relocated every 4 years (military) it makes little sense.

My old cable modem is slow and need a faster modem to take advantage of the new Spectrum download speed for streaming TV. This cable modem work with Spectrum and easy to setup. Couldn't be happier.

Fast and reliable, unlike my service provider. My better option than renting a modem.
