I bought this modem to get closer to the speeds that I'm paying for from Xfinity. I upgraded from an Arris SB6190 (avg 125 Mbps down and 4 Mbps up). After upgrading to this modem I am now averaging 400 Mbps down and 40 Mbps up. Worth every penny of the upgrade!

Has performed very well since purchase. Recommend this model over the Motorola versions for cable internet. This particular model doesn't support IP phone service, so make you don't need it.

buy what you need, check against what you're replacing or if you are in need of an upgrade. This modem fits my need and is compatible with my internet service provider. I probably wont have to upgrade this device for a while. Check with your internet provider, check your speed and look at how you use the internet , school, business, streaming, gaming. Then buy.

Great product - security is top priority with all online activity, so having my entire home protected is great. Ditch your ISP and get netgear devices

Needed to purchase a modem for my new internet service and have always been impressed with Netgear products. Wanted to make sure that the modem I purchased would work as technology changes without breaking the bank and this was it. Great product for upgrading your modem.

I bought this modem to replace the one that was supplied by my cable provider. Their unit was not working satisfactory and I was paying about 18$ a month for it. This modem works well with my fast 1gigabit connection.

I replaced my rented cable modem from Cox in San Diego with this unit and so far so good. The Cox website does not list this modem as supported but it has worked well so far (you need to use customer service to get the device on their network) and I like the ability to upgrade to Gigablast at some point. I will update down the road.

If you have GB internet this is the modem you need. I upgraded my previous Netgear modem to this one when I went to GB internet and have full speed now. I have it kind of hidden away but it looks good enough if I ever needed to move it out in full view.

This DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem does the job. It's especially effective when coupled with a NetGear Nighthawk WAP (see other review). I'm getting astoundingly fast WiFI performance from all over the house, even far from the WAP. The Comcast setup only took a few minutes and it's been rock solid since then.

The NETGEAR 32x8 DOCSIS 3.1 Modem is ideal for anyone looking to upgrade to gigabit Internet, especially for those customers of ISPs that mandate DOCSIS 3.1 modems for gigabit plans. Easy set-up and more cost effective than renting cable modems from the ISP.

Updated my modem to this version and am now able to enjoy faster internet. Appears my prior modem wasn’t able to handle the speed I had purchased. Paired this with Orbi mesh network router and I’m really pleased with the results.

Excellent cable modem. My only disappointment was that it does not have a wireless router on it, but that was my fault for not reading the box before buying it. The modem itself is excellent and has been working like a champ.

I bought this to replace the cheap Technicolor modem supplied by Mediacom. The Netgear is far superior and even with just 16 channel bonding, we're getting speeds in excess of 900Mb. Easy to use, easy to manage. Great modem!

I do not use a wifi router at home, so I needed something with a ton of power. I use enterprise level equipment so I got the best I could find without spending a buttload. would recommend, it delivers every ounce of internet your ISP can dish out.

Got gigablast from cox along with the router/modem they give you. It worked ok enough for web surfing but I still didn't see a change when online gaming. With the help of a Best Buy Associate I chose this modem with the google mesh routers and now everything is truly blazing fast.

I have 600 mbps internet speed through my provider and runs it flawlessly. My previous modem with the same router was intermittent part of the day. So far there has been no issues and works as advertised. An added note is it runs fairly cool.
