Running at 1000mbps with ease! I'm a netgear guy. Best decision I could've made in a modem.

Best modem I've ever purchased hands down. Docsis 3.1, capable of speeds your ISP can't even provide. Super easy to use and the price is right on point. Definitely recommend even though I typically avoid netgear.

I heard about it after having really bad problems with my modem but it solved everything. Very easy to set up. You can create your own password. I even bought my mom one to speed her system up. Money well spent!!!!

For the price, this modem is great. It will work with any major cable company, since it supports DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1. Worked right out of the box, and looks good on my desk. Configuring it is easy, and it plays well with my Orbi router.

Replaced the comcast modem and save their monthly rental fee, while seeing a dramatic uptick in overall speeds of my network. Recommend going with this if you are locked into a rental fee with your cable internet provider for better performance.

My aging internet hardware was starting to cause major problems with random signal drops and intermittent throttling. I decided to upgrade to the DOCSIS 3.1 CM1000 modem by NETGEAR, and never looked back. Internet is not only faster now, but doesn't skip a beat.

My cable connection has always been subpar in the SNR and downstream power levels but my Netgear CM1000 was up to the task and delivered a reliable connection day-afer-day. One important behavior to note is that it has plenty of ventilation and runs much cooler than other brands I tried. I have had no issues at all with it and it synchs up fine with 32 downstream and 5 upstream channels along with the ODFM channel to reliably provide my full subscription bandwidth.

93.35mbps downloads... Faster than old modem. I had to give the MAC address to the service provider Mediacom and it worked seamlessly... Took less than 20 minutes to set up.

Solid tech if you can utilize its max speeds. Setup is easy and straightforward. Wasnt hitting max speeds with Xfinity at 1gb+ so there seems to be a throttle of some kind. Not sure how to explain it though.

I should have done this years ago and returned the modem/router combo that I rented from Xfinity. This was an easy set-up and will save me significant money over the long haul. Speed is outstanding and seems to be more stable than the old unit I was renting.

Near identical to the first version so easy to understand. It is upgraded and has no issues so far. Be careful when contacting support as their are hacker sites that are identiical to theirs.

Netgear cable modem setup was easy with Mediacom. Just call Mediacom and give the the numbers on the modem. Plug it in and go. I need to pair it with an ax wifi 6 router to truley evaluate it's performance. Midem appears very fast with a gigabyte plan from medicom and my old n router.

This router is a great option for those who want an upgrade from the 3.0. This is simple. A modem for internet and cable and doesn't have a phone line so if you don't have a house phone or fax (like most of us in 2021) it'll meet all your needs. It's very easy to set-up and will work with most internet SPs. Comcast/Xfinity is what I use it with and it's one that is recommended by them (if you're not getting their in house router/modem). Netgear is a trusted brand for such needs and this meets my expectations with them. This version is V2 of this item, so if it gets confusing as to what is compatible, know it's V2 though it doesn't state it anywhere but the box I believe.
