    so far so good. You definitely need a router also if you plan on using the wifi. its pretty fast from the older netgear I used in the past

    I upgraded my cable service to 400mb with the intention of upgrading to gigabit. I first I got the Arris SB610. Cable company could not even find the device and it never could lock on. After I got this modem I am able to get over 400mb down. This, for me, is a good indication of the performance when I go gigabit. I am not having any lag issues and a very stable connection.
