If you need a new router this is the one to get! I love mine so this purchase was an early Christmas gift for my best friend! She loves it too! Fabulous customer service too.

This modem arrived quickly and as described. It works just like we wanted. The only down side is it doesn’t have a place to install phone service.

Been pleased with all my Netgear products--this modem plus routers. Good online Genie tools to monitor. Just had to call TDS internet supplier to activate, once it was connected.

No complaints. Works well on all levels of home. Kids can play online games well and does well with my work from stuff.

I have xfinity and kept having issues with my old zoom modem. I purchased this one and now my internet has been running smooth for months.

It works good, takes a dump sometimes. But overall gets the job done, as well you get what you pay for. This is only a modem, not a modem and router. So it only has one Ethernet slot and the coax cable. With a reset button handy.

Plugged everything and all the lights were working but for some reason wouldnt connect to my ISP signal. In sure it works great but i must have got a sefective unit

It works and doesn't drop the Internet like the old one.

Bought this modem for compatibility with my new Xfinity gigabit internet connection. Pros: for 3 weeks, it worked smoothly and I had blazing fast internet! Cons: out of the blue, all the lights on the front panel started flashing and the device stopped working, disabling my internet connection in the middle of a workday. After very frustrating roundabout conversations with NETGEAR support, I was told the unit had failed (for no obvious reason) and told to replace it with a new one. Unluckily for me, the modem decided to bork itself right after the return window from Best Buy closed, so I had to pay $16 to NETGEAR so they could replace the device. Imagine paying for somebody else's shoddy manufacturing and QA! Oh wait, I don't have to imagine it! If the modem works for you, great! If you're an unlucky sap like me, you might get a lemon. Caveat emptor~

I paired this Netgear Modem with my Nighthawk AC3200 router and now my wifi speeds are much better. All my devices seem to have a better connection now. Very satisfied!!!

Would definitely recommend this modem for those who are using there own router.
