    I had difficulty when setting up and ended up returning for the Aris Surfboard DOCSIS 3.1. Normally have good results with Nether products, so I will blame it on my internet provider.

    Returned my Cox Arris cable modem and switched to this Netgear modem (run all netgear in my home). Easy setup and paired it with a netgear wifi router - seamless. No issues. Highly recommend if you have Cox as your ISP. You will have to talk to Cox tech support though, as the provided directions to self-activate on Cox are not accurate.

    Purchased this modem after losing the old one in a power outage. It works well. Would like to have more ports and have had some issues losing connection but not sure if it is the modem or the ISP.
