Was having overall connectivity issues and the cable company wanted to send me one of their routers. I couldn't see paying them a leasing fee so I bought this one. Easy to connect, lightning fast and nice improvement.

I needed a gigabit compatible modem that would work with my cable company (Cox) in Northern VA. It took about an hour and 3 Cox support folks, but I was finally able to get it registered, connected and online. Once I hooked up my router, I was ready to rock. The speed is GREAT! I have like 25 devices connected, via my router, to this modem. Even being routed through my router, devices operating at 5G are getting downloads speeds almost a 400MB/sec. 2.4GHz are much slower, around 100MB/sec. I have my computers, tablets, and smart home devices connecting at 2.4GHz, so not really an issue there. My streaming services are at 5Ghz, and that's where I'm seeing the great improvements and stability. We stream everything, TV, Radio, Movies and this speeds are amazing. Get this router and get a service that gives you gigabit speeds. You won't regret it.

This modem increased my internet output to 980 GB/S. 40 upload. Easy to plug and go. I did end up upgrading to the multi gig version and that is even better. Get 1200 MB/S out of my 1 Gig plan with Xfinity.

I replaced my not-so-old Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 with this model and it just works. Because it is also a Netgear product and uses the same power plug, I was able to simply replace it and have it up and running in a few minutes. The improved DOCSIS 3.1 hardware definitely works better with my cable system and my connection is more stable and the 1Gbps speed ensures I am getting the most from my subscription.

It’s absolutely amazing and definitely gets the job done with ease. I have it paired with a Netgear nighthawk ac3200. It’s a match made in heaven. With 10 or more devices in my household running at the same time it never fails and always runs smooth

I own two of these on two different cable companies. The one I bought this one for was for Cox cable Gigablast. The modem works with out issues, and gets the speeds as listed. No drops, and no issues.

Performs as advertised. We reliably get 450MB+ down over cable and this works seamlessly with both our unmanaged switch and Nighthawk mesh system. Great setup.

Was having troubles with my internet connection. Narrowed it down to both some cabling and modem problems. Optimum repaired the line and I replaced the modem. Have fantastic download speeds now. Would highly recommend this one plus you don't have to pay that monthly rental fee to the cable company.

I replaced a rented cable gateway with the Netgear CM1000 modem and Netgear Nighthawk X10 router. The combination is just plain outstanding. Speed and reliability are fantastic. I have had no issues of any kind and if I had to do this over, I would not hesitate.

Fantastic modem. Never have to reboot it. Works significantly better than any cable modem given by the provider. Do yourself a favor and buy this beast and avoid paying modem rental fee. This modem works greats for 1gbs Comcast internet.

Very easy setup with Xfinity. As long as you are on a compatible service plan you can use the online portal and set this up without having to make any calls. Works great and better speeds than the isp issued modem.

Spend the money and dump your cable provider modems. This modem doesn't go down doesn't drop signal DOESN'T THROTTLE YOUR SPEEDS!! I replaced my Xfinity modem and went from 109mb download (avg) to 290mb download (avg). SPEND THE MONEY. WORKS GREAT

This one is even better than the previous Model Modem,,as 3.0 Docsis Modem's are being phased out,,in order to meet the needs of us who do multiple things,,gamers,,video streamers,,etc etc

Although I bought the wrong one and returned it because it didn't have Wi-Fi, it's quality is really good, and the speed and stability are very good.

I heavily researched modems compatible with Comcast and this one is one of the highest rated and now I know why. It’s super fast and I haven’t had any issues with it yet. If you are looking for a modem then you should consider this one.
