    Says it works with my internet provider but they could never get it to connect. Spent $$$ and can’t use. Found out hard way only 15 days to return. Took a month of going back and forth with internet to find it was my device that wouldn’t work.

    I thought it would make a big difference to upgrade to the nighthawk, but it really did.

    While worked it was excellent; however hardware failure after 1.5 month of use. While Netgear offered to exchange unit, choice between paying $30 for expedited shipping (20% of modem cost) or waiting for 4-7 business days after they receive my unit (I work from home so this is not an option) was not so great. Thankfully bestbuy was willing to take it back!

    Disappointed since speed is supposed to be much higher. Even after Comcast came out and invested about $200 for device. Wast worth investment, since only improved 30mbps

    Not really worth what it cost and set up wasn't easy. I did get it set up, but too way to long to get the WiFi connections to work.

    Did not work for my setup, it might for others but wasn't as user friendly as the Motorola surfboard.

    This CM1000 modem is very easy to connect. Brand new and kept falling off of Spectrum’s network causing me to call to reconnect the modem. I returned this modem and would not recommend.

    I have gone through two of these. It might be the quality, it might be my luck. I don't know. The first one worked for about three months and then refused to turn on. The second one worked for two days. I've had bad luck with Arris and Motorola (those only lasted for about 1 to 3 years) so I changed over to Netgear and it's just as bad. The Arris / Motorola modems always overheat and eventually die, while the Netgear modems just drop connection for no reason. It seems that the quality of the modems have gotten worse over the years.

    I purchased this modem and never worked right - internet kept going on and off for a week - after days of plugging and unplugging and calling service provider - returned it and bought Arris SurfBoard SB8200 - have had it now for 1 month - Not one problem!
