Ehhh

Spent $$$ and can’t use. Found out hard way only 15 days to return. Took a month of going back and forth with internet to find it was my device that wouldn’t work.

Net gear nighthawk 3.1 modem

Worked great for a month and half

While Netgear offered to exchange unit, choice between paying $30 for expedited shipping (20% of modem cost) or waiting for 4-7 business days after they receive my unit (I work from home so this is not an option) was not so great. Thankfully bestbuy was willing to take it back!

Works ok, little speed improvement

So-so modem

Brand new and kept falling off of Spectrum’s network causing me to call to reconnect the modem. I returned this modem and would not recommend.

Bad luck? Bad quality?

It might be the quality, it might be my luck. I don't know. The first one worked for about three months and then refused to turn on. The second one worked for two days. I've had bad luck with Arris and Motorola (those only lasted for about 1 to 3 years) so I changed over to Netgear and it's just as bad. The Arris / Motorola modems always overheat and eventually die, while the Netgear modems just drop connection for no reason. It seems that the quality of the modems have gotten worse over the years.

Terrible Product Do Not Buy!
