Not as good as prior modem

Randomly disconnects from my router

Good cable modem, bad design.....

Does not work with spectrum

Does not work as advertised for Xfinity

Netgear seems to have firmware issues that prevent their equipment from working at full capacity, despite being advertised to work at 1 gbps. I could have kept my old modem and had the same speeds, plus setup took over an hour because I had to call xfinity to install it, rather than just plug and play.

Dead after 3 weeks

Of course, 1 week outside of Best Buy’s horrible 15 day return/exchange policy. This modem was not cheap and now I have to buy another one.

It was fine for first couple of months.

However, after couple of months it started acting weird. Sometimes it does drop the wifi connection, and it won't let the device connect to the wifi. I have to keep resetting it online. Fortunately, just couple of days ago they released a new update and so far it is doing fine.

The modem was exactly what we needed!

The modem was to replace Comcast's Dual Modem. The computers are running faster and much better without Comcast's assisstance.
