GEEK SQUAD SPENT HOURS TRYING TO MAKE THIS WORK

FINALLY THEY GAVE UP & RE-INSTALLED COMCAST ROUTER. I HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK TO GET A "QUALIFIED" WI-FI SPECIALIST TO MAKE IT WORK AND SET UP OUR EERO MESH SYSTEM. NOT RECOMMENDED

Speed Test Results : 325.12Mb/s up, 33.01Mb/s down). This is 22nd Generation Product !! Which suppose to come on 01/01/2100 Top Most Quality MODEM for COX! I used CM500,CM600,ARRIS,SB-6190 , NETGEAR CM-600. Awesome performance. Consistent speed, No drop. I am getting 10-15% more than what i subscribed always !!!! What Else We need, Though out the house, Backyard, front yard, side yard, all bed rooms,dining,living area all speeds are exceeds my expectations.Frankly this is what any customer needs. If you compare quality virus price, This is very low priced, Exceptional quality man. I think may be this is FIRST time i am writing review like this, very excited. I would like everyone to feel like me.

Good modem

Its been solid after setup Comcast was very helpful working with me. Netgear needs to improve their online setup procedure, otherwise its all good.

Don’t buy NETGEAR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Modem went out after 5 months and NETGEAR’s horrible customer service refused to replace it. I already had to do a factory reset on it multiple times before. But because the lights were still on they said it works fine when it has only had problems since I’ve had it. Even my ISP tried to fix it and couldn’t. And they still couldn’t get it to connect to the internet. Eventually I just used a different modem and now everything works fine.

Didn’t work

No noticeable speed difference from this to spectrum modem. If anything, latency increased by a couple milliseconds. The problem was the connection was unstable. Every 10-15 minutes I would lose any download speed. It would correct itself after a minute. I tried resetting etc. I didn’t care enough to go into the settings and see where the issue was. I just wanted it to work without issue in the first place. I returned it and went back to spectrum modem. Everything works fine again.

Don’t do it!

I never came close to my limit until I bought this. Apparently from reading other articles, this little guy “leaks” data. Sounds weird... No joking... It happen... I returned it and bought something else. Haven’t had a problem since! Don’t buy this if you’re on a home data plan!

NO CUTOMER SUPPORT, RMA CASES ARE IGNORED

Netgear don't respong to RMA, Customer support you need to pay after 90 days. so no support. This modem drop the upload connection constantly, Its just faulty. No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out. I had no issues before with Motorola modems. or Arris.

Works Fine But Smells Bad

The Comcast modem produced an odor of burning plastic and was intolerable. Unfortunately this modem is doing the same thing, a bit less but still intolerable. The smell from both modems were confirmed by several other people. I don't understand why these things smell bad.

Dropped connection
