    This piece of trash is a huge failure for somebody who has a big name! my isp's device wood not be able to connect to it. I have had problems with this piece of trash ever since the first day I bought it.

    maybe it was just this particular one but it did not work out of the box. Paid to have a tech inspect it and it was a flawed product. Sent it back and received full credit. Bought a different model

    There was only one place for a connection in the back. We needed multiple items to be plugged into it. Took it back & went with Motorola, which we had previously & it worked for more than 10 years.

    Nertgear CM1000 NOT WORKING with NETGEAR Router

    Netgear R8500 Routers are not working with Netgear Modem CM1000. Netgear Technical support told me to return my CM1000 and buy ARRIS 8200 !!! Same issues with 2 differents R8500 Router. Follow Netgear advice, buy the Arris 8200 Modem !

    Product is great. Best Buy gets a 1 star. Ordered this in Aug 2020. Product sticker says it was manufactured in Jan 2019. The 2020 models are supposed to have all the bugs worked out.

    Won’t work with Xfinity

    Tried for hours along with the Xfinity installer and it wouldn’t work. We ended up just using Xfinity’s and renting it. If you have Xfinity don’t get this, it won’t work even though on the box says it’s compatible.

    High Pitch Buffering Noise

    Had it for a year and it makes a quiet high pitch buffering noise that is keeping my baby awake. Not sure what to do and if it is under warranty.

    I thought this would be a great cable modem to get me out of paying Comcast every month. It failed so fast even the Comcast technician was surprised.

    Net gear. Keep Disconnect it Internet and shut down wifi. Not to sure if comcast of net gear. My review for this i give 1 star

    Went bad after warranty period

    Kept cycling in and out of Wifi for the past year. Thought it was our broadband. Called Cox. They found some things at their hubs and fixed it. Still didn't work

    First unit was defective out of the box. Replacement stopped working after a couple days. Finally returned and went with a different brand.
