Cox Gigablast was finally offered in my neighborhood so I jumped at the chance. However, I needed a new modem to handle it (I never rent modems). Came home, set it up in a snap (nothing to do but hook up the 3 cables (net in, net out and power). Called Cox and gave them the MAC address so they could talk to it and I was good to go. Just blazing along ever since.

When I got my own place I wanted a fast internet connection and the folks at Comcast have made me really happy.... but of course I didn't wanna have a monthly payment for equipment I didn't want... me being a tech guy I like the finer things in life. The performance on this modem is just or more than I wanted, based on its technology built in.

Overall it gives a stable connection. The one drawback is the cable company claims they are delivering one gig of download whereas this device seems to limit it to 600-700 download. Not a huge deal as I don't need more. No wifi.

I needed to upgrade my old cable router after my internet provider upgraded me to 1GB service. I have tripled the speed of my previous cable router. I did have to call my service provider to connect, but it was easy one I got a service representative. Very happy with this cable router. Should last me for a few years.

Its a modem - does what it should. Had to have a Spectrum technician assist with the setup as the automatic activation site says this modem is not supported. (It is supported). Other than that small hiccup for setup I get over the listed 400Mbps download/20Mbps upload speed from my Spectrum service.

I bought this modem to replace my previous DOCSIS 2.0 modem. Wow, this modem is so much faster. It's located in my Garage and subject to warmer and colder temperatures then inside my house. I haven't had any problems but I do occasionally reboot the modem, switches, and access points every couple of months as a best practice.

I bought this to get the max speeds my ISP provided in a recent upgrade of my service. My old modem is fine but could not take advantage of faster speeds (beyond 250). This new router instantly took advantage of my ISP upgrade and went beyond 600. If your modem is not able to give you the speed your ISP promised, it might be time to upgrade to this.

I bought this when I switched to Xfinity as they said I should have a 3.1 modem to maximize my internet. I occasionally had issues with my old unit but this one works well and didn’t want to pay Xfinity a monthly fee to rent theirs when I could buy one for less than 2 years of paying the equipment rental fee. Overall my internet works better but didn’t have a bunch of issues with the 6 year old prior model I had. Just wished upgrading was a little cheaper.

So happy the BestBuy associate helped me decide on this modem. This thing has taken my speeds from 10mbps to an average of 80-90mbps (we pay for 75mbps service)! No more buffering from our streaming devices. We added the Orbi Home Wi-Fi System as well. It was a big investment but has been so worth it! Even my wife approved..(she was sick of Netflix buffering all the time)

I upgraded to this modem to this modem because of the DOCSIS 3.1. It gives me much better speed on the internet. My system speed is supposed to be 150 Mbps. I was only getting about half of that with my old modem. With this new modem I am getting full speed or even a little better. It was very easy to connect although I did have to call my provider to finalize if.

Great modem! Easy install and no problem getting it to talk to the router. I had a separate hotspot so was able to connect to web and that helped

Was tired of paying the "Renting fee" through my internet provider and decided to get my own. Man has my internet speed improved a bit and now i don't have to pay 'em. Would say to get it if you can. Only down side is that it has 1 Ethernet port to connect your router to as the other goes to the one for the internet.

This modem is reasonably priced and works well. It will pay for itself in less than a year since I no longer rent a modem from my internet provider!

It a router, It works with no issues. I have not noticed an increase in speeds but thats up to your ISP not all on the router itself.

I ended up getting my own modem so I didn’t have to rent one from Comcast anymore and using it to broadcast its xfinity WiFi hotspot for everyone to connect to and slow down the internet you pay for. Rant aside very East set up and once it up and running it just works and finally get to use my full 1 gig plan!!
