Bought this because I did not want to pay the $15/month fee to "rent" a modem from Spectrum (now Xfinity). I checked the Spectrum site, this works great on their network. The installer came, hooked it up, turned everything on, works perfectly.

I bought this modem so that I would not have to rent one from Cox. The Cox rep was not able to figure it out how to connect it, and forced me to pay extra for a "technical" consult. Once I got to that person it took about one minute to connect. I have issues with Cox, but not with the modem.

Had to replace our other modem when we upgraded our internet and this one did the job! No issues. Easy setup. Connection is as good as the service it’s on, so… meh. But that’s not the router’s fault. Happy with the purchase!

Had absolutely no problems installing this to upgrade my old modem to this faster one with Comcast. Comcast activation went smoothly online. Confirmed by download speeds with speednet. Now it works 24/7 without thinking about it. I also had a wifi extender in place & it worked just fine with that wthout any monkeying around.

Got this on sale because my old router decided to die and couldn't be anymore pleased. I was skeptical as I usually buy Arris products but didn't have a choice as their new 3.1 modem wasn't out yet. Haven't had any issues with the Netgear and am actually getting up to 150-160Mbps

Excellent boost to my high speed internet. My old router didn’t have the capability to provide the full speed and this did the trick. Netgear makes great products and that’s why my last two routers were netgear so it made sense to pair it to this modem from them. Works great

we bought this router as a combination with the google WIFI. It is a lightning-fast smart router combined with the google WIFI it produces an amazing and reliable coverage. checking the wireless speed on the speed test is showing exactly and sometimes even more than what you signed up at the provider

It has now worked perfectly with Spectrum in all this time even though Spectrum wouldn't say it would because they had certified yet. In the year and a half I have been using it, I have had zero problems. It has been great.

Lightning fast modem for xfinity cable internet. No interruptions with my internet

This modem was paired with a Nighthawk X6 router and made a night and day difference from my old service providers modem. Worth the $150 all day, because it pays for itself in less than a year. This modem is worth not having to pay equipment fee's on your service providers bill every month.

My previous Cable Modem, not a Netgear had intermittent problems that I thought was normal. Since I replaced the former with the Netgear my connectivity problems have been solved. The performance is exceptional as all of my WiFi connections have improved exponentially. Very happy with this product.

Great cable modem! Very fast. Make sure to check if your internet provider is compatible w/ the modem you purchase. It will save you a return trip to exchange it (like I had to do). Best Buy associate was helpful.

Solid device, easy install. I researched the product for weeks and it came down to this over the SB8200. The dual NICs for link aggregation on the SB8200, based on my use case, isn't going to be utilized for awhile due to ISP restrictions. The product went on sale for $20 less, was cheaper than the SB8200 and I couldn't resist.

Once we got it set up, it has run seamlessly in the background. Normally we'd call our tech savvy friend to help, but in the age of COVID-19 we had to do it ourselves. Luckily you can call NETGEAR 24 hrs a day and they are extremely helpful, especially if you're tech beginners like us!
