Docsis 3.1 while a minute technical details enabled our new cable modem service to deliver 1 Gbps to the house over Gigabit Ethernet service. Of equal importance is using this you avoid paying Comcast $12 / month. Amazingly there are still people paying AT&T & Verizon / month for their home phone handsets!

The modem setup is really easy and quick. The only drawback is that it only support upload speeds upto 20mbps

It was easy to connect and get set up, affordable and a reasonable price.

The Comcast user interface provided a clear, quick way to get online. The product itself has a small footprint and has worked flawlessly. Internet speeds have been at and sometimes above my max download speeds. Buy with confidence.

I originally purchased an ARRIS SB8200 cable modem when I upgraded to 500 Mbps service with Mediacom. The connection was unstable and I experienced a lot of random disconnects. I returned it and purchased this modem which has proven to be very stable and provides speeds that are fast and consistent.

So much faster, and CHEAPER, than renting Comcasts modem! Worth the money!

Easy setup, works good, looks good, and is fast. What else do you need to say about a home modem?

Works exactly as it should. I've had it for a year now and have had no issues. I have 900mbps speeds through my ISP. This does now have a router so pair it with a gig speed router and you'll get high speeds.

Excellent product, super easy to use and super functional for what we need at our house. Netgear is one of my favorite brand and always do what I expect from them so with that being said I am 100% satisfied with this product.

Very easy to set up and power up. Only problem I had, and not really a problem, but alack of understanding . Maybe alack of a few more instructions . I did not understand at first that I must register new device with service organization.

Has performed very well since purchase. Recommend this model over the Motorola versions for cable internet. This particular model doesn't support IP phone service, so make you don't need it.

I had planned on purchasing a different modem but ended up going with this one at the recommendation of the sales associate. Transition from my comcast modem to this one was easy and I still get amazing speeds! No concerns as of yet, and I’d recommend this for sure!

Works great! Setup was fairly simple! A great upgrade for multiple users in the house.

I bought this unit along with a NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4S Wireless-AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router. Was exactly what i needed to use with my flatscreen. I used this with comcast internet service for use with my roku, Netflix, hulu, and Amazon prime subscriptions and providers great speed and 4k clarity.

Once up and running it works great! Getting full speeds with no codeword problems or power/signal disruption. The only issues I have are with not being able to personally and manually update/rolback the firmware which doesn't really affect the performance of the modem itself.

I bought this modem to replace the one that was supplied by my cable provider. Their unit was not working satisfactory and I was paying about 18$ a month for it. This modem works well with my fast 1gigabit connection.

buy what you need, check against what you're replacing or if you are in need of an upgrade. This modem fits my need and is compatible with my internet service provider. I probably wont have to upgrade this device for a while. Check with your internet provider, check your speed and look at how you use the internet , school, business, streaming, gaming. Then buy.

I replaced my rented cable modem from Cox in San Diego with this unit and so far so good. The Cox website does not list this modem as supported but it has worked well so far (you need to use customer service to get the device on their network) and I like the ability to upgrade to Gigablast at some point. I will update down the road.

I bought this modem to get closer to the speeds that I'm paying for from Xfinity. I upgraded from an Arris SB6190 (avg 125 Mbps down and 4 Mbps up). After upgrading to this modem I am now averaging 400 Mbps down and 40 Mbps up. Worth every penny of the upgrade!

Easy to install. Works great with my nighthawk mesh router.
