In my opinion a good modem is one that you don't have to think about at all. This is very much been the case with the nighthawk! Our connection is fast and handily serves a variety of devices. The packaging also made it very easy to figure out that this device worked with our isp as well. I would highly recommend this modem to anyone looking for something that you can just set up and not have to worry about afterwards.

Very compact. Handles latest high speed and is approved by Spectrum. Easy to install. Mostly plug and play. Works well with ASUS computer and Linksys router.

This modem was plug and play. Had to call Cox to get it activated on their end but other than that I was up and running within 10 minutes. It gets the advertised gigabit speeds and it’s great to be downloading at near gigabit speeds!

I bought this cable modem to replace my parents old modem that was no longer working. Since I’m not handy, I was worried a little about the set up but it was super easy, even for me. My Dad was impressed & so was I

This Modem was plug and play it took about 5-10 minutes to get up and running, and about 20 mins after that for it to reset one more time to reach full speed. Be warned it only showed 70 mbps before the last reset, now its testing 929 mbps.

Needed the 32 channels for all the devices on WiFi in my house. Works great. Vast improvement over my old router. Internet works much better now. Highly recommend alongside a quality wireless router

Set was easy, just plugged ut in and activated the unit on my xfinity app, currently using 1g speed with no issues

Super fast and easy to set up. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was that I had to call my internet provider to have them add it as an authorized device but it was easy once i realized that.

My previous modem was DOCSIS3.0, and so I finally upgraded to this one. It's just as stable as expected and performs well while under a lot of load.

Modem has worked well for the short time I have owned it. This modem is a DOCSIS 3.1 which is required if your internet supplier can upgrade you to Gigabit service. This modem is one of three that is available as DOCSIS 3.1 ( JUL 2018).

Good speeds, easy setup. Worth the money to avoid monthly fees.

Purchased this to replace my "free" router provided to me by my ISP, as I was tired of dealing with cheap products that stop working properly every 6 - 12 month. This thing is an absolute beast, and despite some issues with my ISP getting it activated is definitely worth the money (so far.) Of course if it gives out as quickly as the free ones from my ISP my tune may change, but I'm for now going to assume it will last longer simply based on the apparent quality and efficiency of the product as it stands now vs other modems I've had.

Fast speed!!! GET it stop renting or having a monthly modem charge buy your own buy this one. you won't regret it and you save money.. I have a lot of devices (knock on wood) fast speeds in all my devices

As soon as I connected this modem to the Internet I noticed how much of an increase in speeding especially on all the streaming I do as well as gaming. I’m glad I invested in a better modem.

Replacement for surfboard, runs better and is faster

Bought it to replace Xfinity modem and the Netgear router has performed very well. The setup instructions are easy and took around 20 mins to get the router up and running.

This new modem has taken care of the problems we were having and works fine, the installer was excellent and very helpful. Would certainly use him again if I can. Thanks

I bought this to replace my old modem, it instantly doubled my speed! I upgraded my internet speed to 200 mbps, and I am getting speeds in the 200-220 range. Excellent modem, no problems so far!

Excellent modem. Easy to install and administer. The Armor security option is worth considering too.
