||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m an IT guy, but I will say that for somebody who is not and is on Xfinity internet, get this modem and save on the rental costs of the xfinity substandard modem. If you are using a separate router for WiFi, and do not subscribe to their voice service (VoIP), this is the modem for you. The instructions are simple and do not require any phone calls to their help desk. Just make sure you have 45 minutes to an hour for the setup and to receive updates to the modem firmware. Small modem that uses less power and generates less heat. Would definitely buy this modem again!

I replaced our very old modem w the Netgear device. Downloaded the Netgear app for installation. App was first class, step by step. These people know how to design installation software.
