A more traditional mesh system maybe better suited to distribute the signal to remote spots within the coverage bubble.

Overall it reduces the speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was not a simple setup, I reseted the extender 12 times in different rooms in my 4500 SQF house. This is not the quality product of a Nightawk product. Once installed, the internet speed was slower by 700%. It is crazy spending $270 to reduce your speed this dramatically is not the way to go! I even increased my internet speed from 300 mpbs to 600 mbps now I am not able with contract for 1 year with COMCAST. Bottom line don't buy it is not a good product back to Netgear for sure!

Product didn’t work as intended

But could not talk to the extender at all I order to change its name, etc. I worked with two different customer service people and followed the instructions but didn’t resolve it. One of them seemed to think it was ok in tow half working state. So I will take it back unfortunately and exchange it for another and try again.

Had some connections problems

Router worked okay but still had deadspots and connections issues. Tried to problem solve but just ended up returning them both.

Speeds are trash despite having GB speed internet. Had to use the reset button on it multiple times and it refuses to complete set up now. This device is not worth the price tag at all. Netgear products are trash.

Device doesn't stay connected to extener, and extender doesn't stay connected to router. Not worth the expense at any price. Security and support beyond 90-days require separate paid subscriptions.

Extremely disappointed!

I had high hopes since this was a higher end NETGEAR product with specs indicating 2,500 additional sqft of coverage, but the device didn't live up to it's claim. Returned it and replaced with the Orbi Tri-Band RBK753 with (2) satellites. Works like a champ!

The directions for setup seemed easy enough, especially since I set up the router without issue six months ago. I tried multiple ways of setting it up, with and without the app, without any luck. A not so obvious thing, just looking at the photos online, is that this extender is quite large.

Don't bother with this.

I've had to reboot this device several times, and it frequently will drop wireless connections. It's super flaky. Please consider buying something else.

Disappointed!

Netgear referred me to return the product to Best Buy and Best Buy said to take it up with Netgear. I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work. At 10 feet I can use a cable to connect to my router. This purchase was a waste of time and money. I'm disappointed with Best Buy and Netgear.

Nighthawk is a Buzzard

We had it near our wifi hub and instead of working to extend our wifi, it blocked our wireless television from working. This hasn't been what I'd hoped.

Did not work well for me

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In order to get it to connect, I had to put it closer to the wifi modem than I needed in order to get a strong, fast signal, so it either did not connect with a fast speed or it didn't project signal far.
