Great - when it works.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was pretty easy and it did seem to boost the signal to our basement playroom. HOWEVER, it disconnects often, sometimes several times in one day. Sometimes it drops, disappears and I have to add it as new hardware. Sometimes just the 5ghz stops working. I've had it since April 4 and I've had to set it up - again - several times in the past few days. I am on the latest firmware, since it updates every time I reinstall it. Netgear will send me a new one at my cost. BUYER BEWARE.

WORTH THE PRICE TAG, NO WIFI DEADZONE.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, my 700 sq ft apartment has wifi dead zone in the living room. I blame the concreate walls. I've tried two different wall outlet extenders and it literally made no difference. After some research I decided it to go for the higher rating GBPS...This is 6GBPS (my previous one was 1200, 1400) after about a 10 minute set up the dead zone is FINALLY gone. WORTH THE PRICE TAG.

Great coverage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this and received this a few days a go and I love it. It picks up my wifi from my living room which has may walls and is about a good 40ish feet and repeats it through multiple floors. Best part is I can pick up my wifi the next block over from my home with this.

Worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works like a champ! The extender is a huge improvement to my house's lower level connectivity! I wish I had bought it sooner.

Works so-so until it doesn't
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was not too difficult to set up, but it is very flaky. The signal is not steady (from literally 50 feet and one floor away in a wood frame structure). When power goes out, or it randomly disconnects, it is a struggle to get it reconnected. I have had this for maybe 3 months and I'm going to give up on it and find something else.

Very disappointed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to try and upgrade my extender (currently using Netgear EX8000 which is AC3000) in my home with this new WiFi 6 extender that should have helped increase my speeds. Rated at 1.2mbps on 2.4ghz and 4.8mbps on 5ghz which i have the top xfinity giga plan and should see increased wifi speeds. Well, I was completely wrong. After several days of testing, this new expensive extender did not work any better than my old one, the EX8000. Speeds tested the same around 350-360mpbs from my recliner so I ended up returning this product and keeping my old extender. I am not sure how they can say that this wifi 6 is better when test speeds are the same.

Not That Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Netgear Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 modem along with the Netgear AX 11000 router and the AX 8 extender, and I never had such poor WiFi throughout my 1900 sq. ft. home. I have Xfinity 1 GB speed and I used to get better service with my Arris 3.0 DOCSIS modem, Netgear 5300 AC router, along with the the Netgear AX 6 extender, and Xfinity's 450 Mbps speed. My internet speed is not any better. Once in a great while will I hit over 900 Mbps, but most of the time my PC runs anywhere from 28 Mbps to somewhere around 450- 525 Mbps, and that's after I re-set the modem through Xfinity. I ended up adding the AX 6 extender (along with the rest of it), to help boost my speeds in the living room. I did contact Netgear and they really did not offer much of a solution, but wanted to hurry up and close the case, then asked for a review on their next to nothing help. If you know anything about all of these Netgear products I have hooked up, then you know I spent a small fortune for everything. I am totally disappointed in Netgear and cannot recommend any of their new products.
