Customers are saying

Customers regard the Nighthawk EAX80 AX6000 WiFi extender as having excellent range and ease of use, with many praising its simple setup and ability to extend WiFi 6 networks. However, some users experienced connection issues and inconsistent performance, leading to negative feedback. The accompanying app also received criticism for its functionality. While many found the extender improved their WiFi coverage, concerns were raised about the value for the price.

I’d recommend this for a medium range extender for a house that’s maybe 1200 sq feet but no more than that

Frequently disconnects from main router leaving connected clients without internet. When trying to connect it says router is not setup even though setup is complete and security questions were set. Speeds are very slow 30-40mb/s on wifi 6 5ghz compared to 500mb/s when connected to main router even though signal strength is strong both ways. Connected to alien ax router. Wired connection setup recommended.

I had numerous people tell me I would have to run hardwire to a metal container in order to get wifi. Because of the return policy at BestBuy, I took the plunge and tried it. I now have wifi in a solid metal container. Was it pricey? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes!

I have had the The Nighthawk EAX80 for a little over a week and so far it works as advertised. I am no longer having weak or dropped internet connections while working on the deck. Also the setup was easy to follow using the app. The only issue I had was that the internet stopped working or slowed down in parts of the house after installation. Rebooting my router and modem solved the problem.

I bought the EAX-80 Range Extender to improve Nest reception in my backyard. It helped but I hadn't really tested it before I moved my Netgear router and Comcast modem to a new location in the house. That move halved the wifi speed to my PC (downstairs). So I put the EAX-80 next to my PC and connected an ethernet cable. I went from 45 mps to between 100 and 200 mps.

Had this for about quite of few years. Never had an issue with it always been simple and extends wifi and stronger signals farther away from the router definitely gets the job done.

If you have "dead zones" in your house, this is the way to go. It maintains signal strength throughout the whole home and even outside in the back yard as we have this extender in the rear of the house. Works great to boost connectivity to any areas where they were lacking before. Great buy.

The Netgear wi-fi extension works great. I was able to resolved all my poor connectivity issues by incorporating this mesh. It did take some time and effort to set up at first, since you have to sign-in and figure out the Netgear website. Netgear will help you resolve any issues or concerns if have any problems. 2.4 GHz and 5GHZ option works very well.

Excellent, as the Netgear Nighthawk AX6000 AX8 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender totally fixed the poor Wi-Fi connectivity issue I have been suffereing with for years. I have tried other extender, and they faile. But not the AX6000!

Excellent price point. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's working great and our internet is even faster than it was previously. I'd recommend the Nighthawk EAX80 AX6000 WiFi 6 Range Extender and Signal Booster for anyone that needs to improve their internet speed for a low one time price.

I bought this to use as extended on my property. I placed this about 75 ft away from my main Internet/WIFI connection and in a separate building and I was able to obtain WIFI internet coverage in that building with standard internet service as well as other outside areas if the property. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I had the EX7700 as an extender for my AX80...spent the better part of a year trying to get it to work correctly and would just drop out. The EAX80 is a great compliment to the AX80. I had all 3 items on the network and had issues....I turned the EX7700 off and immediately everything started working a lot smoother.

This has been a great addition to my AX6000, although I did not need to WiFi coverage because the AX6000 coverage is great, I wanted the ability to hardwire some devices into the extender to keep wireless clutter to a minimum and take advantage of the faster speeds.
