My first time using this kind of extender it have been very good so far I can not complain

Does the job. Keeps the internet running quickly in my living room. 1300 feet away from the source. I'm impressed. It's improved the connectivity outside as well. I am glad I bought it.

Easy to install and never disappoints. NetGear always makes the best network devices. Easily extended my wifi 6 network... No more areas with no network within my house.

I have set this up on my wireless network and I can unplug it and move it anywhere and it will keep the information. For instance I can take it out to my garage for events or just to mow my back 40

I’m using this to extend the range of my Netgear AX8 router. Setup was simple enough and it does a good job of extending the range of our WiFi to cover the rest of the house. I’d recommend it!

WiFi 6 is a beast even for WiFi 5 devices, strong connection at a far distance. Great upgrade. The furture of WiFi is looking great and actually looks liek cables will finally be a thing of the past!

Nighthawk wifi extender great quality, works great to boost the WiFi in our multilevel home with several smart devices. Setup was fairly easy, would recommend this product.

Just moved to a new home. Using the extender in the bottom floor where router is on the 3rd floor. Able to stream Apple 4K TV with no buffering. Works great. Easy set up.

Very happy that I decided to give myself a new Netgear WiFi extender for my birthday. I'm easily cranking 200 Mbps wherever I am in 2 bedroom apartment.

This unit had major connectivity issues and the would lose signal constantly. The wifi 6 features are why I originally purchased this extender but I ended up returning because of the drop connections. Updated the firmware to see if this would correct the issued but it was still losing signal and dropping the connection and I was getting better signal directly from my AX120 Router after the AX8 was removed form my network.

I really don’t know how it works but I’m trying to figure it out .myself. I think you should be good, but I don’t know.

Took 10 minutes to set up and update. One app controls it. Its as simple as downloading the app and plugging in thw device.

Had this for about quite of few years. Never had an issue with it always been simple and extends wifi and stronger signals farther away from the router definitely gets the job done.

In good conscience, I can't give this extender a 1-star rating even though that's what it was worth to me. I purchased it because I had very successfully used previous versions of it (EX8000 or whatever other name they called it). I expected this model to be even better, and I think it definitely has that potential. However, one very essential feature that I required of this model, just as provided with the EX8000, was the ability to create a guest network. Nix. Doesn't have it. Perhaps never will. Why in tarnation would Netgear simply remove (with no findable information of that fact) a feature they (and every other router/AP/extender manufacturer) provide in all sorts of other networking products? So, I tried contacting Netgear to see if, just maybe, they intended to provide a firmware update that would fix this omission. That turned out to be a totally hopeless endeavor. Their email tech support was just plain abominable. I asked that single, very simple one-sentence question. No one would believe the different responses I got, all of which failed to even approach a simple answer. I gave up and returned it. Bottom line, I've liked and used many Netgear products for many years. This experience has left me wondering if I'll bother trying anything new of theirs in the future. Again, I think this extender has great potential, but if they make decisions to remove features without notice and then provide just plain awful tech support, why would anyone buy it. Now, if you have no need for using it to provide a guest network, maybe you won't mind paying the price that I had to look past to allow myself to purchase it. Good luck!

The extender had the range but wasn’t compatible with my other network equipment. I would recommend it with other Netgear equipment.

We were trying to improve our coverage and that was accomplished. It was very easy to set up and connect.
