Got the extender to work once. It worked beautifully for 2 days then dropped. Left that area with no strong coverage that i was looking for. Tried to restart the extender but was unable. Tried to reset the system on the side with no luck. Unplug re-replug. Did it all with no success. I even tried both installation techniques but no success. Thought it would be a good upgrade. Guessed wrong. Had to give up and remove it. Unable to return as it is out of the window of return.

Moved into new house 2 years ago. Need a router to cover entire house on min 1G connection. Works great!

This extender helped a little bit in extending the reach of my wifi. The 5Ghz and antenna lights occasionally turn red and I do not know a good way of fixing it.

I had a refurbished one that I bought at another place. I can’t even get WiFi from it one floor directly below it. Bought this to replace it. So happy!

Great extender. Works well as described. And since it uses the existing WiFi name and passwords, no need to reprogram devices. That’s the best feature

For the first month or two this extender proved worth the purchase. Lately though, it'll stop resolving DNS queries resulting in no internet access for whomever is connected to it. Upon unplugging/rebooting the device, it wont reactivate the WiFi radio bands and thus wont reconnect to the router. This then requires me to factory reset the device EVERY TIME I experience no internet connectivity. Which is now happening at least 4+ times a week. Frustrating.

It is good if you are only extending into one room and using it exclusively with the router. Otherwise go with the netgear x6s mesh extender.

Turns the router and other extenders into a mesh network. Mesh is the best. This one is good because you can just hang it on an outlet

This seemed to work, but when a computer was within range of BOTH the primary and extension, confusion ensued. Did not connect properly to either. Other products tried had limits on number of devices connected, also some confusion and sporadic connectivity. Have not yet found an answer to extending a network!

Works as advertised— much better than a standard extender because it uses the same SID and uses mesh networking to provide more bandwidth.

Easy to setup. Not sure if I have a setting off, but doesn't seamlessly transfer as advertised.

I had internet issues making gaming in different rooms of my house difficult. This extender solved that problem and more!

This product is exactly what they said. My family does not have problems getting on the internet from the top floor in my house now.

Did not do much to improve dead spots. Disconnects a lot. Don't waste your time.

Couldn't get the product secured an Net gear and they wanted to charge me $50 to get the Netgear Wi-Fi Range Extender secured.
