Better products for less money are out there

I bought another extender by Netgear that was actually $20 cheaper and it works awesome! I thought that maybe I could use them both together but once again when I plugged this one in it slowed the WiFi speeds actually in half from what I was getting with the other extender alone.

No good

Actually gave up on Netgear altogether and switched to a TP Link mesh system. Don't even bother with an extender, especially this one.

You are supposed to be able to bypass the 2.5 speed rating, but it will not allow you to. I even did the setup next to the router. I have better wifi coverage and service without the Nighthawk than I do with it. I wouldn't recommend this to my enemy!

Never could get it to work.Their customer service was no help. If you try to downlad the app they mention, you get someone from India and they want access to your com. Don't waste your money or time.

It makes the signal super slow

It did not work at all. It made the signal slower. I later bought a Mesh system that works wonders for my needs.

My router is in my living room so my bedroom WiFi is weak. I do not love in a giant house so I was told this extender would work. I was wrong. It constantly kicks you off. You have to log in over and over again. Any device used was the same issues. Don’t waste your time or money.
