The NETGEAR - Nighthawk X4 AC2200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender did not extend the range of the signal within my home. I placed the extender on my first floor and couldn't pick up the higher speed internet on my laptop even though it was 10 feet away.

did not display NETGEAR EXT as an available network to log on to even though the exterior lights said it was transmitting. I'll bring it in to the store even though it is too late for a return and maybe someone there can get it to work

The extender will not maintain a signal for xbox one play.

I returned the AC2200 Nighthawk Range Extender and bought Netgear's AC1900 Range Extender instead. The AC1900 works much better and extends the range of our wireless router to the entire first floor of our home.

I tried multiple time to connect on the 5 ghz setting to maximize the speed capabilities. It would continuously drop signal completely. Even after resetting and updating software, it continued to drop. returned the next day for a refund.

This didn't work with my current router. The internet kept disconnecting on our cell phones. We tried tons of things and even contacted the companies customer service for help. We ended up returning to and buying a different device.

This product was supposed to work, and it did for two days then it is blocked and does not allow access to the internet. I tried to reset it without success. I am overseas now and need an extension to return this product. Please help.

We set up this extender using the app and connecting it to a Netgear router. Lights lit up green etc. upon completion. But the extender interferes with our existing network and makes both useless.

While it “extended” my wifi range it brought the speed down from 150 Mbps with only my router to less than 5Mbps when the extender was on. So this device is a hard no for me.

I followed the directions and could not make it work. I tried to contact the company for assistance and got nothing. My IT savvy friend tried to help. No dice. A wasted couple hundred.

I absolutely hate this! It was difficult to setup and when I finally did and took it to where I needed it the thing keeps kicking back off line. Wishing I could return it!

bad product . the app. you have to down load to control it does not work , making it useless.

Dead on arrival. Plugged it in and the lights stayed on the whole time. Tried rebooting it nothing. Never again.

Worked great for about 5 minutes. After that it kept dropping the signal and then wouldn't even reconnect. Tried for several hours to make it work. It didn't. Would NOT recommend. Returned item.

Bought for my parents to have better wifi throughout the house. Did not set up very easily and once setup did not work as a hotspot or a continuous network. I'd recommend a powerline instead.

Range between router and extender is very poor It only recognizes router 5 G when in same room Worked when geek squad agent set up but then started having issues Currently waiting call from geek squad agent

Had for aboutn5 months and now I'm unable to log into the modem. Tech support said it was a bad device. Took it back with my warranty on 12/31/18 and still unable to log into the modem. Crap

Could never get it to connect. Netgear customer service told me I had to spend $50 for a customer service contract (minimum) to recover or reset the password for this worthless item.

This unit did not work for me. It actually made my system worse. Multiple devices did not work when using this unit. I recommend not buying this unit.

Very bad.... Sucks...Dont get it...I had up and down times with this products.... Maybe If I was in a 1 Room Home it would work... ???
