I use this device to expand the range of my router from upstairs to the garage to enable my garage doors to open & close from WiFi. It's a very convenient method to expand the range of the router without investing into a mesh router system. I would not recommend depending on this device for equivalent speed to your router. Only use this for basic devices and don't expect excellent download speed.

Easy setup! Our WiFi is located in our basement and we have a main and 2nd floor that gets poor connectivity. I had a WiFi repeater set up but was always losing connection and had poor coverage. No more. We now have a stable connection and coverage into the yard so I can stream music while I work around the house.

figure out how to set it up. The directions IMO are not very clear. There are 3 methods to set this thing up. I work in IT and I was about to throw it out the window. I finally got it to work on last try. It performs as it should. Super fast speeds coming out of it. Unfortunately the app that helps you determine where to place it is only available on android through the Google store. I think I'll stick with TP Link products. They just work the first try!

Product worked as stated. It was relatively easy to set up. I have a multiple signal WiFi router, so I had to try a couple of times to get it set up correctly to be able to maintain both signals. It was easy enough to start over. Only took a couple of tries and to couple of tries to find a good place for it to be to extend the signal.

Can't imagine an easier interface. The product does exactly what it is advertised to do. We're running 5G on our router downstairs, and right at the end of an upstairs hallway, BAM, dead spot between 2 of the bedrooms. Set this up right out of the box following the instructions, same SSID network name. Speed and 5G reach. Using Netgear R6400 downstairs, the one with 3 antennas.

Great product for extending your range. Bumps you off your network at times but then reconnects you right away, which can be annoying.

This WiFi range extender does a great job! Easy set up with the app. We stream our tv shows, we were having issues with buffering. We also were not even getting a signal 2 floors up. Now it comes in flawlessly! We are also getting great signal on our wireless security cameras. Very happy with the purchase of this product.

I purchased this extender to boost my wifi signal for my backyard detached covered patio. The extender is indoor by a window that is 33 feet away from my outdoor patio tv and I get between 90mbps and 1115mbps signal at that range. I would give it a higher rating but my wifi signal indoors reacher up 650mbps so I think it should be a little higher. The setup was also a breeze so that’s a plus and I’m not that computer savvy.

I needed a GREAT range extender for my CenturyLink C300 modem/router and, based on past experiences with NETGEAR Wi-Fi products, I picked this up. Setup was VERY easy only a couple of web pages and I was connected within a few minutes. I had a strong Wi-Fi signal in most of the places I didn't before (this replaced a 6 unit Google Wi-Fi Mesh setup) but to cover everywhere I had to try different places. That was to be expected as the router was at one end of the house (2 stories and 2500 square feet). I found a location which worked for all devices on both stories. We get great throughput on all of the devices connected wirelessly (probably more than 100 including all of the IoT). My one complaint (and this applies to any extender setup) is that the software doesn't have any way to tell you the signal strength in order to make it easy to place the extenders. Once it's configured, you're on your own finding the limits of your current signal.

This extender has worked better than I expected. I have a long ranch house and the wifi is positioned on one side of the house, not in the middle (out of necessity.) This extender made the wifi for the entire house powerful and accessible. My only complaint is that after 2 years, it stopped working and may need a firmware update. It was not the cheapest extender to begin with. But updating the extender seems more complicated and laborious than I am comfortable with, as I am not very tech savvy. This is causing me to just look at replacing rather than updating. It's a shame that process isn't easier and that I'm looking to buy a new one instead.

Needed to extend the range of my Netgear AC3200 WiFi router. Couldn't get a good signal on my back patio with router in the office in front of house. Setup was easy and now I have wifi all the way out to the pond (about 100') in back yard. Nice to get something that works as advertised.

Easy to install and set up. The reason I purchased this was so when I was out front in the driveway and yard I could get good reception. It did improve it a slight bit but not what I had anticipated. When I replace my router I will reevaluate.

Overall, this product works very well. We have a large house (about 6000 sf) and unfortunately our router had to be placed on on side. This extender provides coverage for the half of the house that doesn't see the router. It works consistently with multiple devices and gives decent speed. My only complaint is that the set up is not that easy. One tip- connect this to your computer via an ethernet cable when you're setting it up the first time. Once you get it up and running, you'll be good to go. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it.

Purchased to enhance a Netgear Nighthawk 5000 gaming router. I have used older WiFi extenders several years ago and they were either difficult to set up and/or didn’t perform very well. It has 2 methods to set up and link to your primary router. Both are very easy. I encountered no problems with setup. Once it’s linked to your router, simply place it where you want. It greatly improved the WiFi on my deck and my security cameras don’t drop their connections anymore. As yet, I have not tested it for improvements in streaming. After 2 weeks of use, it has never dropped its connection. I plan on buying a second one for the other side of the house/garage. I have had no frustrations or regrets with this purchase.
