You have to pay $99 for tech support after 90 days

The product works fine most of the time. The range is great when it works. It does have to be reset about once a month. This last time resetting it didn’t seem to work so I decided to call tech support. It is a $99 charge for tech support through netgear (who makes orbi) the tech support only covers the first 90 days for free

I purchased the Orbi 750 series to replace my net gear night hall. I hope it increases my range and improves my strength level.

My older Orbi system only had the router and one satellite. The new system has the router and TWO satellites!! I get much better coverage and the upgrade to WiFi 6 to boot!

The actual worst thing I have ever purchased

I think this might be the worst thing I have ever purchased. I've never written a review in my life but this pushed me over the edge. First, none of the satellites stayed connected. They were essentially a flashing beacon my desk because the light constantly flashed as it wouldn't hold a connection. So I ditched the satellites entirely and thought I would the actual router. Which worked fine for 2-3 months until the router started doing THE SAME THING. My internet didn't maintain a connection for longer than 5 minutes. I rebooted the system, unplugged and plugged it back in, and verified with my ISP that I was getting indeed getting service to my home. So glad I spend hundred of dollars on an entirely useless product.

THE no-Mesh Router Satellites quit working. It's been 3 months, 28 emails and over 25 hours on the phone with tech support.. Well where am i ?? Not working. They told me two weeks ago that they would give me a refund.. Went out and bought an eero that works great.. 4 days later (they said 1) and they said that they wouldn't do it. Told me to contact Best Buy.. well i called them three times and when i told them my situation, they hung up.. Guess they didn't want to address their customer issues. So 3 months and still no working system. PS - my warranty expires in 14 days. Got a feeling that they are just pushing out and then gonig to tell me that out of warranty. Done nothing in two weeks to address my issue. One of their tactics - kept asking me for detailed purchase information ---IF YOU PURCHASE YOU BETTER KEEP EVERYTHING !! --- I sent this to them 8 times ... yes that's right eight times. Had to go on their site with tech support on the line and show them where the information was .. If this works, you may be ok, but if you have issues, read this closely and love to share the 28 emails on here if i could. Actually thinking about creating a website and posting to help potential customers from going down a sliippery slope. Signed Network Engineer.. Yes i know what i am doing.

I wont buy another Netgear product. First, you only get 90 days of support. After that they upsell you on service contracts. I have the AX4200 and the satellites conked out conveniently at 18 months. Support tried to sell me different support plans at $200, $300 and $500 to fix them. Claimed they new what was wrong over the phone with no diagnostic at all. Shady. A waste of money and effort.
