    Never getting another router

I haven’t seen speeds like this EVER!!! I currently have Gigabit speed at my home and for over a year I would never get over 200mbps when running speed tests. After purchasing these, I average around 600-700mbps depending on the time of day and the device I am using. The only issue I ran into want getting them to remain synced when connected them via Ethernet. I ended up leaving them wireless since the speed is still exceptional and any decided I needed on LAN I could use a switch. My home is wired with cat-5 so not a big deal.

These are amazing if you can afford them and have the right service. They are overkill for smaller places but we have 3000sqft and they are great. We went from 29Mbps to over 400mbps with gig service in the farthest corners of our home. Shut doors or even outside aren't an issue and we have great signal and connectivity over every inch of our space without ever dropping out. They are large and really stand out but they look pretty nice and the light goes off so they are fine for a media room or bedroom.

After much research I decided on the Orbi Mesh Wifi 6 system because of the range it delivered. I needed wifi to be connected to my shop which is about 100 feet from the house. This device solved this problem and also strengthened the signal in the house I no longer have a dead spot. Also the set up had me up and running within 10 minutes. I am very pleased to date.

    Great product- Easy to install

This was incredibly easy to install and has worked perfectly. We have had them for 2 months now and not had any problems with the internet coverage they provide. We did run into an issue with my son's PS4 not connecting well, but after looking at the blog for Orbi we were able to change the setting and resolve the connection issue. This was a pricy purchase, but it's been worth it, especially with everyone working from home.

My old linksys velop ac6600 (3x nodes), with the rated 40 device connection rating hit its max a long time ago and was starting to have device conflicts/drops. Had to upgrade. Went with this NETGEAR Orbi AX6000 and wow, what a difference! Paying for 300mbps and now I'm actually experiencing it! Before, was getting about 60-150mbps through-put. Now I'm regularly seeing 350mbps through the entire 3600sq ft/2 story house! WHAT I LIKE: the speed is super fast. 100+ device capacity, the range (even with just the 2 node system). Also, I was quite concerned about the iot setups. Sounded like it would be a total crap show, judging from the reviews. However, I had zero issues. My wyze cams, ring doorbell, Sonos, printer, everything automatically found the 2.4 ghz band with no issues. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: the setup was painful! The instructions weren't very clear to me so it took a lot of bouncing, then when I get set up, gotta do personalization and bounce, losing connection again, bounce. Get connection, then gotta do a firmware update, another bounce. Then failed connections. Gotta bounce again. Finally get everything set up and guess what, another firmware update! Going to wait a few days to do that one. It was about an hour of setup for me but once it was done it was well worth it for me. Dropping 1 star though, for the painful setup experience.

The product was correctly described. It was in stock and available, and the service was excellent. I would also say that Netgear's customer support was attentive and could help with my new devices.

I replaced my Orbi AC3000 with the AX6000 and haven’t looked back. Setup was a cinch using the Orbi app. The AX6000 has consistently out performed the AC3000 from not only a speed standpoint, but the range seems to be much better. I have a gig connection and was getting 350 mbps to 512 mbps down with Wi-Fi 5 on the AC3000. With the AX6000, I consistently get 512 mbps to 700 mbps down. My son gets 880 mbps down using Wi-Fi 6. The price is what it is. But it’s worth it! This system has performed perfectly!

    Cut the Cable Cord!

We decided to get rid of cable and reduce our overall expenses. In doing so, we decided to stream. But our home uses so much data that we’re afraid that our life would be impacted. We have high school aged children that go to school remotely & three work from home adults, not to mention the PS5, iPhones, security systems, printers, TVs and all the other stuff that uses WiFi. This Orbi system was a bit pricey but I would recommend it as we have had tremendous download (avg 900+) & upload (avg 40+) speeds!

Have a large house and wife works from home and needs a good internet signal throughout the house. Purchased the Orbi AX6000 and it has significantly increased speed and range throughout the house. System is a little expensive but very much worth it. Highly recommend.

The initial setup for the Orbi app was not working properly ( it was really PITA) . I followed all the setup instructions that came with the unit but it kept saying ORBI device not found. Tried to check online for support for the community netgear forums and instructed to press the factory reset button and then follow the setup instructions again, still wouldn’t work. Decided to call the netgear support and told me to press the factory reset button for more than 30 seconds, then wait for 3-4 minutes to boot up the unit then start the new setup instructions again, this time was successfully setup with the upgraded firmware. Once the unit setup completed, my wifi coverage throughout the whole house ( including my basement, backyard and in my front yard and garage) is really fast more than my paid speed subscription , also I don’t have any dropout signal and since the unit was installed, we don’t have to reboot my modem. Overall this mesh wifi system is worth every penny, so far I don’t have any issues, it’s been running for more than a week since I installed…

Our house is not large. However, we have a gamer in one corner of the second floor, my home office in the basement, and the main living room on the first floor. We live in a rural area, our cellular service is lacking to say the least. We rely on Wi-Fi calling. Prior to finding this amazing system, I could not make or receive calls in my home office. I would experience dropped calls on the second floor. Basically, we would have to remain on the first floor when using cellphones. The system that we had was an ASUS gaming router, don't know the exact model off the top of my head, and an ASUS range extender which was placed in the gamer's room. Our outdoor Nest cameras would drop upon occassion. And the Wi-Fi calling was lacking to say the least. After doing my research on the Orbi AX6000, I was more than excited to bring it home. So glad I did. There are absolutely no issues whatsoever. Nest cameras have not dropped once. Wi-Fi calling is superb in all areas of the house. And browsing the web does seem to be faster. Love love LOVE it! Now I am looking to purchase this again with my corporate card for the owner of my company. Can't wait to make him happy!! LOL

    Big house solution

With gigabit internet, wired, I get same speed as connecting modem to PC (940 Mbps). Wireless, I get 600-700 Mbps upstairs and that's with 47 smart devices and 6 people online in a 2150 sq ft house with 2 stories. . The software still needs some maturity with more options available, but these 3 Orbis are great. They hardly get warm, haul butt, and so far (2 weeks) are very stable, and don't have a dead spot anywhere inside or out.

Was using the Linksys nodes which were OK, but didn't seem to be able to handle the number of devices we had connected (lots of Google home stuff and Hue lights on top of computers, phones, streaming devices and having consoles). I can't get over what a difference Orbi made. We have a two story house and the two nodes are plenty for the two floors. Very pleased.

Perfect solution for weak signal on Zoom calls

Very powerful signal capable of pushing through fast reliable speeds. Though its expensive compared to other solutions, worth the peace of mind. Our NYC apartment has thick concrete walls so that the furthermost bedroom from the access point could not receive a strong signal. After the move (during pandemic) started getting complaints from family about dropped video calls and spotty call quality. I tried a different routers, google nest and even a powerline network in various configurations. However all of them resulted in a pretty weak signal. The calls could still go through, but would drop intermittently and they would need to login again to class or work. Finally out of desperation I bit the bullet and upgraded to the AX6000. The reason was to avoid future wifi issues, get it over and done with and to futureproof for Wifi 6 and more internet devices. Signal was the strongest by far out of all the previous tries. Instead of 30mbps, am now getting 250mbps on the satellite signal. Even better, it has ethernet ports on the satellite that boosts the signal to 500mbps. Though this solution is probably overkill and could be done cheaper I have not received any complaints since.
