Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent, they work like a charm went from the Google mesh system to this, and it's a night and day difference, but so is the price but defiantly worth it. My only regret is not going for the Wifi 6E edition for the extra $500.

Save yourself the headache...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently have an Eero 6 Pro system - from what I had read this Orbi system was stronger and perhaps could improve streaming in a completely chord-cut home. At a price tag of over TWICE what I paid for Eero's best... there should be some benefit right? So... $1000 purchase and away I went. I have set up many Wifi systems before - the old days with the two in one routers, old d-link routers, now two Eero systems recently. I have to say that this app and the wizard to set this system up is the WORST I have ever seen. There is NO explanation as to what is going on, what to do next, etc... If there is a problem, it just sits there on a generic screen where it's trying to get you to sign up for other services. I havent even gotten this working yet and you already want more of my money? Figures... So, it says it's set up - going to connect now. My device pops up the wifi symbol... "Cannot connect to Orbi." This happened over and over despite my device saying I'm connected to the Orbi. Although, there's no internet connection. No websites will load... just nothing. So I go looking for help... there is NONE to be found. Essentially what you get in the app is garbage - two liners that tell you to make sure you're not connected to your OLD wifi system (ok, super helpful) and to make sure I'm not using cellular. There is NO contact support anywhere. The only other advice both on their website and in their one page document they send?..... go sift through their community forums. To cut to the chase, I finally found a number online, and never made it to a representative. Tomorrow, this $1000 piece of junk goes back and the Eero's are already back up and running. FYI - I have had to contact Eero's customer service before - there's a number IN the APP (the Orbi app is useless) and they answer very promptly - also easy to understand and helpful. In the end - this equipment MAY have been great given the price, but when it has no support, the setup is vague and not helpful... I'm not likely to invest any more in netgear or even give another orbi unit a try. There are other options out there - save yourself a headache and go with one of those.

Working Good So Far"
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has worked great. A Little high on cost compared to other brands. My house is 3300 sq. ft. with some stone and extra insulation in the interior walls.

Expensive and works for a smart home
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Expensive and works for a house with a ton of connected devices. The only problems I had were on my Nest products (Protects and thermostats), but I think it was more a Google problem than my network. I wish the networks were more customizable.

Excellent solution to wifi problems
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to this from a Linksys Velop. We had multiple issues with the Velop dropping the internet despite 6 access points. I installed the Orbi system and have had no problems with dropped connections and it covers a 5300 square foot concrete house flawlessly with excellent speeds.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid improvement to Wi-Fi coverage and stability. Security features are extra and not as advanced as I thought would be available in this price range

Orbi has upped the bar again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a new 10th gen Intel laptop, new iPhones or have an old router you need to replace, make sure and look at the latest Orbi with WiFi-6. Coverage isn't increased, but speed at the edge of coverage is improved immensely with new devices. Where I might have gotten 10-20Mbps I now get 100Mbps or more. Very impressed with the stability and improved speed after almost a month of use. Some features are missing, like Circle, but they should come as Netgear pushes updates. The core functionality works well and IPv6 has been very stable. Great so far and should just keep getting better. It's pricey, but you are getting what you pay for. There is not a better WiFi system out there.

Netgear Orbi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took a bit of effort to get Netgear connected and running smoothly. It does have a security system that is good. Our primary interest was to have better internet coverage inside and outside the house and that has been achieved. Overall, we're hapy with the Netgear Orbi.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this until they work out all of the bugs (which frankly could be never). The telephone support I received was a complete waste of time. The person basically said I should return the item and didn’t offer any helpful suggestions. The app does not work and I am constantly kicked off the service for no reason. Disaster of a product and I wish I did not buy it. The Orbi AC-3000 Triband which also had a lot of negatives reviews early on actually worked great for me as I likely bought it after they worked through the kinks. If I knew what I know now I would never have tried to “upgrade” my wifi with this junk.
