Maybe an overkill for my 2200 sq ft home but I no longer have any dead zones. Easy to set up. Recommend you keep your current network name/password to make installation even easier. I changed mine and had issues getting my printer to connect. Was told it would have automatically connected if I had kept the same credentials

Great product so far! Had some issues with my line coming to the house so I had to get that corrected first before I experienced the beauty that these things deliver! Worth every penny. 2300 sq ft house, wifi everywhere! 40 plus devices connected no issues. Top of the line product...my opinion of coarse. If you can fetch out the dough you will be pleased.

Before purchasing the Orbi whole home tri-band mesh system my internet was spotting around my home and I had some serious dead spots. I used to have a wireless router with a range extender. After purchasing the Orbi not only do I have consistent internet, I have no more dead spots!!! It was super easy to set up and has been working great for the last couple of weeks.

This has fixed all my router/ internet issues, I have a 2 story house and the speeds are just as fast upstairs as it is down stairs. They do cost a lot more but worth every dollar. They do exactly what they advertise. There is absolutely no buffering or lagging. Super fast speeds thru the whole house with no dead spots.

The Orbi Ax6000 was super easy to install and now, finally, our WiFi signal reaches every level of our home and out into our yard.

I thought I was nuts to pay’s this much, but the difference is incredible! The satellites can daisy chain so you can cover a decent distance from the main unit. Software is very good and easy to use. Advanced settings are all there. Finally good Wifi!!!

System works great. You will need a third satellite however if your in an old home with block walls like me due to the signal not being able to reach certain areas. And my home is only 3300 ft.². During setup there were times when the app was not registering the satellites connect when it was clearly connect also.

This has been a great mesh network. Setup and configuration was simple and quick. Great support for port forwarding and PPPOE. Amazing parental control options as well. Only issue was mesh connection between devices is wireless only. Would be good to connect wired but doesn't seem to be easily supported.

Our Orbi System is Asoundingly Terrible

Since we have had the Orbi system installed (had Geek Squad installation), Internet service in our home has been a absolute nightmare. We now have large gaps when we have no Internet service at all - and we have not been able to get any of our Alexa devices to play more than a song or two before they completely shut down. So, with the Orbi system, it seems we paid a whole lot of money (we went with one of their most expensive systems) to make our home Internet a whole lot worse. Our plan is to return the entire Orbi system this week.

I have over 50 connected devices of various demand levels on my network. My previous setup worked great for high demand loads and did justice to the 1Gbps link. This router addressed the coverage issue, while having a negligible impact on bandwidth. Great for that one reason. Had challenges with setup. Especially legacy 2.4 devices frequently dropped on the network.

After 5 days of ownership and 5 days of support from Netgear, I believe the purchase of this device was a waste of a lot time and a lot of money. What should be a relatively straight forward setup as an access point has turned into a ugly joke. Issues encountered 1. Even though the 5G back haul showed a "good' connection settings were not propagating to one of the satellites. Still not resolved by Netgear support 2. Inconsistent connection between devices on my wired (5G and 2.4G)and wireless networks. Sometimes the traffic passes with no issues other times I experience Significant packet loss, or destination host was unreachable errors. Still not resolved by Netgear support 3. Inconsistent connection of WIFI devices to the network. as an example, two identical Genie garage door openers, one connected, the other not connecting and flashing green. Tried to reconnect the flashing opener (get an incorrect password response back from the opener), gave up after four attempts, only to find out when I took the dogs out later that night that the one that was disconnected was now connected and the connected one is disconnected (ARRG). Harmony remote, connected most of the day yesterday, today not connected. Trane Thermostat, Yesterday not connected today connected. 4. Wireless device show in the device table sometimes are wired. How do you get an IPhone to be a wired connection? Not resolved Really..... Netgear support is still not able to get WIFI stable. Support requested I downgrade the software to the prior release V3.2.16.6, which I did to both satellites and to the router with no change to the issues. I purchased this system to replace an original ORBI system that worked flawlessly in the house for several years, I naively thought it was time for an upgrade. In short I don't yet know if this is a hardware or software issues, but I do know this is a Netgear issue and not an issue of my network topology. And Netgear don't bother responding with links to your self help articles, they were not a help when I started this 5 days ago, and your support folks ran me thought the content again, so the result from a third time will not likely be different.
