Excellent product. Still learning to configure all the special features but it works as advertised. My son can now get consistent performance anywhere in the house as he roams around with his laptop watching videos and streaming podcasts on his table and cell phone.

Great mesh network. Glad I upgraded for better house coverage

Went down to the 4200 3-pack instead. We couldn’t justify the performance gain for hundreds more.

I don't think this is for the novice techie, I have finally gotten the system to recognize the satellites but I am still trying to figure out how to get anything to connect to this. I originally purchased this to extend the wireless coverage in my house, but I am not sure I am going to be able to get it to work

The Orbi AX6000 Tri-band mesh system looks great and was relatively easy to set up. I got great Wi-Fi speeds throughout my home and the connection appeared to be stable. The Orbi smart phone app gives access to many of the configuration options. Any advanced changes requires use of the web interface from a laptop/desktop. Unfortunately, I experienced one deal killer issue - speeds on an ethernet (wired) connection with this router. I have 1 gb service from Comcast and routinely got 940-980 mbs on a wired connection to my desktop on my old router (not Netgear). With the Orbi RBK850, I could only get around 450-480 mbs on the same wired connection. Spent over two hours on the phone with Netgear Technical Support and no resolution. I then checked several user forums and found a pretty consistent pattern of complaints about this very same issue with this router. At the price point for this system, there should not be this kind of issue, particularly when it is a known issue. This will be a return purchase.

For the price point, it better be the best Wi-Fi system ever used. I’d say it’s close, but not quite there. I’ve had some lag here and there when streaming, but it’s worked great nonetheless. Not worth the price.

The absolute best wifi system that I ever bought for my house. I own a ranch-styled home, built in 1962, so it's very spotty at the one end of home for wifi coverage. This system ate through the walls. Fantastic.

Prior to having this setup, I was only getting 120 Mbps at best when I was near my router, but that dropped off to 2.5 Mbps when I was on another floor on the opposite side of my house. With just two of these ORBI Mesh WiFi 6 routers, I now have a consistent 280-300 Mbps all over my house!

I had a Nighthawk AC1900 that could no longer keep up with all the devices attached. Keeping the wifi name of the 2.4Ghz allowed me to put this in place with next to no issues. My speeds are significantly higher now and no lag accessing my home devices. I recommend this upgrade to everyone.

Our home has construction materials that limited WiFi coverage by other systems but the Orbi Whole Home Mesh 6 leaves no dead spots in our house. Set up was very simple and upload/download speeds match the capacity of our IP service.

We purchased this router to upgrade our WiFi system. We went from pitifully poor WiFi numbers to totally awesome. We also upgraded our service and now we have an awesome system to do everything we had hope for and more! If your looking for a super high speed router this is the one.

I have had this for almost a month and a half. Great setup, the two access points provide great coverage across all 3 floors of my house and also out to my garage, which is across an alleyway. It handles our 15-20 devices with ease. Not one issue to speak of.

I had the older model and gave it to my dad because his was not good and improve his WiFi tremendously. Also, I was in the need of an upgrade. This is a great product and I would recommend this to anyone. Great speed and easy connectivity with the Orbi app.

I picked up the Orbi AX6000 two-pack Wifi system about 6 weeks ago after one of my old Google Wifi access points started crashing. I was hoping that with Wifi 6 support and great technical specifications, these new Netgear Orbi devices would improve my network speed and reliability. Unfortunately, what I found is that Netgear have released a product that should still be in development. The routers were working fine until a recent (forced!) firmware update pushed out automatically by Netgear (there is no way to disable without blocking their update servers through DNS) started causing many random Wifi disconnections to all my devices throughout the day (at any given time, it's likely that at least one of my Wifi devices has been disconnected, either phone, PC, or IoT device). There have been multiple customer threads about this issue in their support community and they eventually pulled the broken firmware from their servers, but there is no fix yet. This is a particularly bad time for many people to have an unreliable Wifi network at home due to the COVID pandemic, and it is frankly unacceptable and inexcusable that Netgear pushed a mandatory firmware update with bugs this bad to users. In addition to the problems mentioned above, this Netgear product has fewer management features than prior versions of the Orbi system. It does not have robust parental controls and though it advertised some sort of integration with Alexa and Google Home, I am yet to find it. The management interface looks like something from 10 years ago, and the system REQUIRES you to be on Wifi to set it up from scratch/reset. Why can't users set up my router from a wired device connection? It's not explained. The router's administration pages also have an annoyingly short timeout, so I find myself constantly having to log back in while troubleshooting. There is also no good documentation that I've found for the confusing admin interface, so finding any given setting (e.g. IPv6 configuration) is a frustrating game of finding a needle in a haystack. The bottom line is that this is currently a very buggy product that should not have been released yet. Avoid these Orbi products until Netgear fixes their issues.

Great wifi router, have had no connection issues with over 40 devices so far

Our household features more than 30 various items on the network aside from the typical laptops, phones, etc (now kitchen appliances, Arlo cameras, TV's, music streamers, etc). The att supplied gateway for gigapower is fine for a few items, but lacked the power necessary to supply multiples of connected equipment with any sort of reliability. The wifi6 orbi is simple, but does require a bit of understanding concerning basic networking custom settings to function flawlessly. Depending on your particular connected equipment requirements... I'd allow 2 hours for the initial setup with additional time allotted for fine tuning (equipment reconnects, proper wifi channels, etc). I've just now finished resetting the 3 arlo q cameras with a vastly improved response time on our Arlo pro2 system. Lastly, we have experienced zero laggy or dropped connections since fully implementing this orbi mesh network. Note: you'll save a good bit of time using your old network credentials on this orbi.
