    I'm sure it's fine for people who just need to plug and play and aren't running 1000 MB/s speeds but if you're doing any game downloads it dumps connection to the modem above 40 MB/s. Sure it resets but I shouldn't have to bother.

    As many folks who purchase this item, I needed an upgrade to the WiFi situation in my home. Had been using Google Nest Wifi with two access points for a bit but could no longer tolerate the slow speeds at the points, specially now that we have to work from home. Gave this setup a try due to the strong reviews and was very excited with the speeds I measured, but that was short-lived. Every night the setup would disconnect 2-3 times, leaving my security system offline for at times 2 hours. The issue appeared to be the connection with the modem, a CM1000, but I never had issues with any other router before except the Orbi. Ended up returning the unit as I could not tolerate such instability for such an expensive setup.

    Bought and returned the next day. Constantly had to power cycle to keep a connection and could see any improvement over isp WiFi 6 router. Have gigabyte service and seen no improvement over isp supplied gigaspire blast router. Not worth almost 8 bucks in my opinion. I get between 600-800 on isp supplied router and Orbi 6 did the same thing. If the Orbi 6 would have resulted in a consistent 800 plus and didn’t require power cycles I might could see it being worth the money. My fasted test on my iPhone 11 Pro Max was 903 and I actually got it on my isp router. Range was no better either than the gigaspire blast router. For 800 bucks basically with tax I expect to get 800-900 constantly anywhere in the house and within 25 feet outside from the house. I can not recommend this system as it’s not better than my isp router.
