If you have a medium to heavy reliance on WiFi, trust me, you need this WiFi mesh system. It literally double my speed thought all of my WiFi reliant components. Internal (Amazon) and external (Ring) security cameras and lights respond much faster to my iPhone and the live video kicks in almost instantly now. We have a multiple Apple TV’s and smart TVs from Sony and LG some wires and some wireless but they all respond faster to phone commands over WiFi and I even notice greater speed from the harmony hubs. I had the previous Orbi system with two satellites and with our 3669 sq ft home with surrounding yard this new system is waaaay more reliable and zippy!!! Can’t be happier!!!

I've been using the Orbi AX6000 for a little while now with great results. I can safely say it now replaces my previous router and extender setup. Previously I was using a Netgear X8 Nighthawk in conjunction with a Netgear X4S extender, while that setup worked pretty well, the handoff between the router and the extender as well as the general coverage wasn't the best. Ever since setting up the Orbi, everything has been working quite well. The coverage is fantastic and the device handoff is great. If you have a large home and need lots of wifi coverage everywhere, but don't want to deal with setting up individual APs or extenders, I would recommend giving the Orbi a look.

I had been using Google WiFi in my house and I upgraded to Orbi and it is so much faster. I am now getting every bit of speed out of my ISP. Great product!

Fast as a scalded cat and easy to set up. This is my second mesh network and probably my twentieth router (I had them before wi-fi!). Best system yet.

I purchased a Linksys Velop system in December of 2020 and worked with their tech services multiple times to attempt to improve the coverage. It was so bad that I was only getting 25MBPS at the downstairs child unit standing right beside it. I finally gave up and purchased this NETGEAR ORBI MESH system and my coverage is now my entire house, to include my basement and outside for my Smoker. It may not be the cheapest system but it certainly won me over with its coverage. Highly recommend...

Purchased the Orbi Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6 system about a week ago to replace my ISP provided router. Installation with the Orbi app was easy and the system was up and running with all my devices attached within 15-20 min. I am reliably getting >95% of the bandwidth I am paying for throughout my home (basement to second floor) with the two-node system. Very happy so far and would recommend to others seeking improved WiFi performance.

I'm sorry to say this product was a deep disappointment. The router crashed twice during the initial 90-day support period with Netgear replacing the unit the second time. It then operated another 5 months before crashing again. Each time it went down, I spent half the day trouble shooting and working with their support. When it was working, the system did a good job although I did have reboot the system frequently to keep the satellites connected. The end came when I had to spend three hours on the phone after paying for the privilege of speaking to support. After tinkering with various settings and finally getting the system up and running, it lasted for less than 30 minutes. Fortunately, I had purchased Best Buy's extended warranty and they took it back, no questions asked.

This is a home where there are a lot of dead spots and multiple WIFI connections. Unfortunately our current internet providers router doesn’t give good WIFI signal. After purchasing this product I wonder how we ever lived without it! No more dead spots and no more lagging due to multiple devices using internet as once. For the first time my kids can be on their devices and won’t cut my internet from other areas.

So easy to set up!! And they walk you though it all! Couldn’t recommend enough!

We replaced a top end wifi router with this mesh system. The range does not seem to be as great but it does seem to be better or more even coverage. So far it has been able to handle everything we have thrown at it. It is pricey- not sure I could have done as well or better for less but it has met our expectations. May have add another satellite but very happy so far.

My internet speeds are literally over 500x faster (all verifiable). Enough said.

Excellent Wi-Fi system better speed and range highly recommended

Brief Summary of issues: 1. Backhaul feature no longer works. It's completely broken (again) like when they released the backhaul feature on the original Orbi. 2. Devices are not showing connected properly to either router or satellite. They are ALL reporting connected to Orbi router. 3. Satellite always shows disconnected if attempting to use backhaul feature. I was only able to get it to say "connected" once. Very buggy. 4. When trying to setup Orbi and the Satellite both connected via Ethernet would cause the settings to not talk to all the hardware properly. I tried to setup the Satellite via no backhaul and just 5Ghz initially, but as soon as I connected satellite to ethernet for backhaul support, it caused problems again. 5. At one point I had 2 separate networks. One on the router, and one on the Satellite, because the Orbi router could not effectively communicate to the satellite once it was connected via backhaul. So essentially the settings would not get "pushed" to the Satellite. More Details: I had the previous Orbi router. I set my parents up with the original Orbi. It works great for them! I thought Netgear would build on the previous generation and the firmware and features on this new RBK852 would be pretty stable. Ohh, how wrong I was! Do you all remember how Netgear came out with the backhaul feature on the original Orbi, and it was buggy for a while? Guess what, the backhaul feature on the new RBK852 is completely broken again and not functioning at all! The router would connect to the satellite via the dedicated 5Ghz band without any issues. However, my connection was only "fair" and I planned on using the backhaul feature all along. When connecting the satellite to my network via ethernet, the light would turn solid blue. The router would then report that there is no satellite connected (however, that was a lie.) I would go into the satellite's web GUI and I could see some devices were connected to it. Once I figured out the Orbi router was just lying and that the satellite was in fact connected and kind of working, I would try to look at all my connected devices. The router reported that ALL my devices were connected to the router. Ummm, hello? No they're not! My 802.11ac phone is connected to the satellite, and I'm getting 600Mbps down. I tried to reset the Orbi and start over from scratch. This time I left the satellite connected via ethernet during the initial setup. When it came time to create my network name, the Orbi router would NOT communicate this info to the satellite. Therefore, I ended up having 1 secure network on the router, and 1 unsecure network on the satellite! This scared me so much, because I have a lot of neighbors. As soon as I saw that the security functions are not compromised, and part of my network was insecure, I knew this POS had to be returned to Best Buy. Also, the TELNET feature that many of us used on the original Orbi to separate the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz no longer works! I was so sad when I tried to get this feature back. Therefore, you will never be able to control what radio frequency your devices connected to. Sorry Netgear, but this does NOT work for me! I can't have some of my streaming devices, like my FireTV, connect to 2.4Ghz. I don't need my 4K content buffering.

This set exceeded my expectations. Range cover my entire house and yard, without dead spots. The dedicated 5ghz band linking the satellites together is a huge help as it keeps the main 5ghz band open for traffic. Setup took maybe 5 minutes using the Orbi app. 5 stars!

This has improved our Wi-Fi connection throughout our home, with an easy interface. Very expensive, but the best coverage we have gotten as compared with prior systems (eero and Apple). Looking forward to additional add-ons becoming available (e.g., outdoor satellites) and functionality (profiles, Circle protection).

I previously owned the 2 box setup with ac3000 boxes, and certain areas of my home wouldn’t get the best coverage. This setup with the wifi 6 is much faster and those areas of my that wouldn’t get coverage before, now do get coverage!! I truly love this product, with your every penny!
