Always in a search for reliable, fast WiFI across the entire house, including the garage, I purchased the Orbi WiFi 6 mesh system. Setup was much easier than my previous experience with various routers, access points, and extenders. It also does a great job with speed and coverage.

Absolutely Outstanding! We have a large house with brick and metal roof. The previous Orbi was one of the 1st mesh wifi systems and it worked but was still spotty. This new one was an investment but worth the dollars as inside and outside we have excellent coverage!

Pricey - you bet but worth the cost. First one did not work - second worked like a charm and took less than 10 minutes to get going! I have been able to connect the vast majority of wifi devices without too much hassle. Best speed and signal strength (download at about 940 Mbps).

I've had this for 8 months. If you don't use any of the security options and leave it wide open, it works great. But if you want security, it is awful. In order to make it work, you need an open line to tech support, which expires well before you're need has ended. So if you're okay paying for tech support every time you want to connect a device, it's great. It's the only router I've ever had that constantly blocks my access to it requiring tech support on a regular basis. If you want something that works without constant need for paid tech support, buy something else.

Purchased this system and had it setup, running, and all devices recognized within the hour. Phone app allows fine tuning on the fly. Beautiful design. Support quick to answer, knowledgeable. Happy with the decision to spend the money.

Excellent. We have always had problems getting wi-fi in every room in the house. Now with the Orbi I have a good signal throughout the house including the garage and patio. I am very happy

I was having problems with my internet for 1 year until I changed my router and put the Orbi Tri-Band Mesh Wifi 6 System and my problems were over. I highly recommend that you choose this product.

Used the iOS app to set up my Orbi WiFi 6 router with one satellite. Easiest time ever in setting up a new router system. With the satellite I have great coverage throughout the house! I highly recommend this router.

Got Orbi 12 years ago. GREAT product. Bought AX6000 today. WORST JUNK know to man. The programmers for this router are living in a basment and need to be FIRED. I have been running a computer business since 1999 and this is PURE junk. OMG the headache of setup and still cant get it to work. JUNK JUNK JUNK

We have a big house 7000sq ft with 3 levels, we have a router and satellite on each floor and we finally have good wifi coverage in our house, this system is pricey but worth it

The Orbi boosted my WiFi speeds from 30 Mbps to 117 Mbps. It supports multiple devices streaming video simultaneously while allowing me to telework. I totally recommend it!

Perfect solution for 50+ devices. Dedicated backhall fixed congestion caused by home automation peripherals. Nest and an older Netgear solution could not keep up.

Best Wi-Fi Ever By Travis This product delivers the best whole home WiFi out there. Been a true Netgear fan for a long time now. This product is great.

I have an existing subscription with Netgear Armor (Bitdefender Box) which I use on my previous Orbi. This new hardware doesn't have the security feature that Armor provides and also lacks the parental controls (Disney Circle and OpenDNS). There's no announced dates on when those features will be implemented with a firmware update to this RBK852. So I suggest holding off on buying this until it has been added via a firmware update. It is currently limited in functionality.

These Orbi work very well. Better than the ones I have before that went out.

I Bought the AX600 router (RBR850) and two satellites (RBS850) in April of 2020 for $1,000. Today I actually (and happily) threw them in the garbage can and bid them a farewell. Over the last 1.5 years, they have proven to be at times blistering fast but typically ridden with problems at every firmware update. (From the disabling of the Speedtest within the app, to constant need for rebooting, to lack of connection within the app, to degradation of signal). But the latest firmware update permanently disabled the “ac” and “ax” protocols, so both wifi 5 and wifi 6 are gone! All that’s left is b, g, n, a. In other words I’ve gone from wifi speeds of 750 Mbps to 10 Mbps even standing directly in front of the router. (Direct Ethernet is still close to 1 gbps). The identical thing happened to a work colleague who also has the same orbi setup. I finally paid the $90 for netgear phone support. (Yes you only get the first 90 days of tech support for free; it’s expensive after that). My first call I waited online for 5.5 hours and finally hung up and went to bed. The next morning I called and after 1 hour finally got a person (who I could barely understand due to an awful long distance connection, their poor headset microphone and a very heavy accent). The resolution was to load the prior version of the firmware; which I did). This did NOT fix the problem! Tech support claimed they have no record of this type of problem with others. (Probably because you can’t reach tech support). So after a year filled with endless quirky disconnects, I have permanently “disconnected” from NetGear- never to go back ever again.
